From the man who brought you House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale!
It promises to be the most offensive movie ever! Kind of like what the game set out to be (the most offensive game ever!)
Yup. He went there.
Uwe Boll did it for the lulz.
lol I get it cuz that’s like something that happened IRL

He’s just a little late on it, I made a hometown version maybe 5 years ago. Nobody liked it.

It might not be so bad, actually.
The guy behind the Postal games has had direct control over the production, knowing how shitty Uwe is.
It just might make it.

Anyone played Postal all the way through? The ending was pretty classic. Just kids everywhere and you can’t believe you have to shoot them– but it’s actually over.

I love the Postal games. And 2 mods. But sadly, I think the movie will suck. I am looking forward to Postal III more than the movie.
BTW, of all the pieces of ass that have been posted here. It took Postal to bring me out of lurking.

Then why even hire that hack? He’s 0 for 6 on video game adaptations, and shit, his best-rated film on RottenTomatoes got a 13%.
Unless the concept is just so terrible that no one else would sign up.

At this point, I can’t believe that anyone would give Uwe “Toilet” Bowl money to ever make any film again. I don’t care how many critics he boxes, he needs to let the experts have a shot, so some of these games could be turned into decent movies.

combining Uwe Boll with any video game, is offensive to video games. And movies.
And puppies.

Y’know, Silent Hill was allegedly designed by people that wanted to stay true to the game, had played it before, etc. etc. etc. It ended up being a pathetic excuse for a gorefest that had but a scant moment of the atmosphere, suspense, and general fucked-upedness that the original games were famous for. …and it wasn’t even done by Uwe Boll, who’s already proven that he sucks six times over.
…so if you’re holding out hope for Postal, I wish you good luck. Hollywood’s abilities at translating a story from other mediums to the big screen are nearly nonexistent, save for a few shining exceptions.

Patrick-Uwe asked for the rights to do the movie.
The reason is, simply put, Uwe will be funded by the germans no matter what.
And the guy behind Postal, who’s name I forget and should remmber, is dirt poor.
I’m not kidding. He gave up EVERYTHING to make Postal 2. He had a huge house and a fancy car, and he’s prettymuch in a shack now, but he wanted to make a point with P2.
I hope he gets some money back now.

I can let this slide considering Uwe Boll did beat up Lowtax.

this will suck nuts- the entire reason postal is so fun is because its YOU slaughtering people; it wont translate to film well to begin with, and THEN we have mr uwe boll behind the wheel, mr “i fuck up every license i get my hands on”
tbh i prefer postal to halo (as far as games go) but rumour has it that peter jackson is on the halo movie…i know i shouldnt judge based on only that, but he does have a penchant for bringing things to life in an epic way….
