The most recent issue of Brit lad mag Zoo poses the age-old question that mankind has struggled with since the dawn of civilization (or at least the early 60’s)…real or fake? They have thoughtfully provided examples of each to aid the mammary connoisseur in his (or her) quest to answer this dilemma.
This piques my curiosity…where does the preference of the fubar masses fall? I came up with a few possibilities:
1. Real…cuz only nature’s beauty will do.
2. Fake…cuz the bigger and rounder the better.
3. WHO CARES? BOOBS ARE BOOBS, JUST LET ME SEE THEM PLZ!
So how about it? What say you?
ps. What’s up with breast size measurement in the UK? It must be different than here in the States (or there must be something in the water over there), I’ve never seen so many E’s and F’s (even a couple FF’s and a G).

98 percent of the time, real are totally superior.
What I want in boobs is for them to match the person they’re on, or the figure at least. Skinny girls with giant boobs just don’t look right, and really, fake boobs rarely do anyway. And I’ve known girls who look better after a reduction too. I have a friend who got good implants, though, but she was less than an a-cup, and had a medium frame, so she looked sickly really. They made her look normal.
Size, overall, doesn’t matter, just proportion. Like Scarlett’s and I like Knightley’s. And I liked Aguilera before she got the implants!

Got to agree with #5. Almost always real are better. But they can be too big. And most fake are too big. But, went out on a date tonight and learned that she had fake boobs. Look GREAT, but feel quite different (yeah, got to that point).

It’s worth noting there ARE two really good fakes in that spread.
Kayleigh Pierson’s look perfectly natural to me, though it could be perspective. But they look to be a normal shape and curve and size. Natalie Denning too, she looks great. I think she’d look undersized less than that, but I’d like to see from more angles to be sure. Yeah, just to be sure, really.
Also of note, neither of them suffer from the all too common bad nipple implants like to leave, where either the nipple gets huge and stretched and icky, or is a tiny dot at the end. I’ve rarely seen either of those happen naturally.

Fake breasts look great when it comes to cleavage under a blouse. Absolutely beautiful. But when it comes time for bedroom action, you quickly understand just how great real breasts are.

Real real real only. Never have been happy with a pair of fake, but have enjoyed less-than-stellar reals at times. Also they need to be able to drag them across your body just so, and fakes just don’t work well, it’s just all off.

The average in the UK used to be 36C, but I believe I’ve heard on the news at least twice since then that its gone up and continues to do so. Lets say a D cup to be on the safe side, could be even bigger. And yes its definitely something in the water, its rising all the time at an increasing rate according to all the reports I’ve heard – there have been several recent high profile UK documentaries about all the young girls having back problems and trying to get reductions on the NHS (terrible idea!)
Natural are great, but a GOOD pair of fake breasts are awesome too, I like the un-natural roundness and “auto cleavage” that some of them get. I’m more fussy about nipples however, and sometimes implants stretch them beyond recognition – not a good look!

As for my opinion, I too agree with the fact that boobs should be in proportion to the body. However, I don’t care about real or fake. I’ve been with women with great real tis and bad real tits as well as some with great implants and bad implants.
The Bad implants are normally VERY Bad! But, for me, It’s all about the nipple anyways!
But come on guys, if we got the whole package laying on the bed, just how long do you think we’re going to be spending time on the boobs anyways???

As someone who has implants, I’d like to say that for the most part, I do prefer fake boobs over real ones, but only because: a) many of the boob jobs these days look very natural(thanks to better surgical techniques that came about over time since implants first came out); b) I’ve seen a lot of natural boobs that were either flabby, disproportionate, or generally unappealing.
If two girls both have identical looking attractive boobs though, but one has implants and the other is all-natural, it is only natural for most people to be inclined to prefer the “real” boobs. Perhaps this is because guys instinctually perceive the all-natural girl with nice boobs to have better genetics(?).
I do not like boobs that sag. I also do not like the look of a girl who is too disproportionately small, or has boobs that are too small to fill out tank tops and sundresses. Of course though, there are exceptions…some girls look great with smaller boobs. The only small boobs that I normally like are the ones that are perky, roundish, and have the biggish perky nipples that poke through tank tops. (Before my surgery, I didn’t even have that)
Personally, I prefer boobs that are on the large side but not too large. A full D cup would be ideal, except for girls that are petite to the point that a D cup would look “way too much.” (Most guys prefer boobs that are a little smaller than the kind I like.) I also like boobs that are more on the rounder side, but not too round to the point that they look superfake(i.e., porn star boobs). I also like boobs that are perky. That is the reason that I often prefer implants over natural boobs.

Okay I just read through all the comments and I do agree with Zeke. Some people look better with implants if their boobs were disproportionately small. I used to be one of those girls. I also agree that sometimes girls who get surgery go way too big. One of the common compliments that I get about my implants, is that my surgeon made them perfectly proportionate and didn’t go too big. For example, I’m halfway between a C and a D and I do not feel that mine are too big. The only time that I feel that they are a bit too big, are the times that my shirts fit everywhere else except across the boobs. But then again, maybe that’s because the clothes are made to fit preteen and teenage girls who haven’t fully grown boobs yet…who knows. Either way, I love my boobs. =)

I have never felt a fake boob that liked. feeling the ballon creeped me out ever time. I have never been creeped out by a real boob.
Becca’s boobs look cute in that tight t-shirt, but I’m sorry Becca I’m sure if I felt them I would be creeped out.
Of course you didn’t offer for me to feel them and you are on the other coast anyways.

Some fake boobs feel weirder than others. I’ve felt boobs that had the super round fake look that have actually felt softer than mine, despite looking “firm.” My friend’s implants look very natural but according to my other friend, they feel a lot firmer than mine. I’ve heard that the new silicone gel implants feel more like normal breast tissue than the saline. It also depends on where the implants are placed. Implants placed under the pectoral muscles are more covered by muscle and breast tissue than implants placed over the muscle. A very tight-skinned flat-chested girl that goes from say, AA to DD will be more likely to have firmer feeling boobs than the boobs of a girl that went from say, saggy B-cups to a C-cup. That is the reason that a lot of girls wait until they have kids to get implants, because generally the skin across their chest is looser and will allow the implants to settle into place easier.
In my experience, pre-implants many guys told me that I “didn’t need” the surgery. These were the same guys who either wouldn’t date me, or were desperate and/or infatuated with me enough that they would have dated me however I looked. Post-surgery, the same guys who never liked me before and told me that I shouldn’t get implants, finally started to ask me out. Maybe this is partly due to my implants looking a lot better than people thought they would turn out. Or maybe it’s also because getting implants sent out signals that I was sexually charged and non-prudish(hello, I tried to tell people that I wasn’t a prude before, but they never listened and just viewed me as the innocent looking straight-A student that looked 14! lol).

Wow I sure write a lot about boobs lol. Boobs is one subject that gets me going. But one last comment: The pictures in Zoo were rather biased against implants, evidenced by their biased choice of pictures. A lot of the “fake” pictures exhibited boob jobs that weren’t botched, but by far NOT the best boob jobs out there. Likewise, a lot of the “real” pictures showed boobs that were unusually perfect! Seriously, how common is the “natural” size 32E??? 32A or 42E are more common, but even those sizes are anomalies. And how many girls with 32E’s exhibit perfect shape and perkiness? Most “natural” superbig boobs(i.e., size E or bigger) don’t look NEARLY as good as the boobs shown in that magazine. I believe that it is more common to see good-looking implants, than to find very large perfect-looking natural boobs. Again, the media is presenting an issue in a biased way(similar to the way the media shuns or supports Bush, shuns strippers, shuns celebrities, shuns obesity, etc.).

However, I think you would have been almost equally creeped out by my pre-surgery boobs. I was abnormally flat to the point that I would wear deceiving “misleading” push-up bras. A few guys actually commented out loud that my boobs had looked much bigger with a shirt on than topless! Also, I (sigh) had no nipples back then. My nipples didn’t poke outward until after I got my surgery. My flat nipples could be the reason that the nipple rings I’d once had, had started to grow out and get all gross and shit…there was nothing for the nipple rings to really go through. Piercing them was like trying to pierce the skin of your palm lol.

Becca, you sound a lot like my one of my best friends there. She’s training bra still, at 22. But for her, it looks right. She’s got a miniscule frame and is very tomboyish. For you, the implants work. You have the shape for them, at least from what the thumbnail reveals.
It’s also true the list is biased with the pictures to an extent. I’ve dated a girl with real 36Es she’d had since fifth grade, despite her otherwise normal frame. They were the opposite of perky, and they pointed southward sometimes. Implants for her would have been fine.
But, an augmentation and a lift are thoroughly different procedures and results. Augmentation is prone to looking super unnatural. A lift, well, puts things back in place. I think that might also be something worth covering in a magazine, but even that is variable. Sites like bignaturals sure make a lot of money, afterall, and they’re far from perky in most cases. But maybe that goes back to the subconcious and implies fertility, etc. Plus pornstars like Sierra, who’s breasts are rather massive but not perky, really, are showing that natural seems to be more popular with most people, even the less than perfect ones.

That is true about breast lifts, but did you know that most breast lift procedures involve inserting at least a very small implant in each boob? A lift involves the doctor cutting away the extra skin, so the doctor then needs to put something there to fill out the boob so that it retains its size(or slightly bigger) and stays put.
I agree with you that sometimes, no matter how droopy or horrific the boobs may look, guys will still favor the giant natural boobs over the giant fake boobs. However, the oversized natural boobs have the advantage of being a “novelty” shall we say, because they’re unusual. Whereas for someone that is only say, a B cup but has droop, she probably will not win over someone that has perky C cup implants. Another reason that huge natural boobs may be a novelty, is because these days it is rare to find a porn star that has big boobs but DOESN’T have implants.
Pictures anyone? LOL.

I did know, otherwise it’s just a reduction. But, it’s not adding to it either, really, I’ve not seen a lot of lifts that come out bigger than they were by any noticable amount. The skin is already there, it’s just got something firmer there now than fatty tissue, whereas augmentation stretches things out.
The droopy b/perky c is an interesting conundrum, because it starts to seem reverse of expectations. A droopy b isn’t expected, nor is a perky c. But the droopy b seems more normal I’d think. The issue with implants isn’t so much perk to me, as shape. Too many implants have a poor shape and are unnaturally high, for example. The behind the muscle usually looks better, and silicone look better too(and move much more properly), so if that was the C, it’s probably a winner. But again, that depends on the overall body shape they’re attatched to.
Oversized implants are still bad, no matter how well they’re technically done. It’s like a fat girl with a flat chest, it’s just not right.

From a looks standpoint:
I think it all just depends on the particular combination of the size and shape of the breasts and the size and shape of the girls body. Too big or too small (compared to the body) is bad. I guess I don’t have anything against fake boobs…as long as they don’t LOOK fake. It’s no good if it looks like she’s got skin stretched over top of two softballs (or basketballs even) on the front of her chest. If they look soft, sag just enough (but not too much), don’t have any hideous scars, and match the body type, then there’s nothing aesthetically wrong with fake boobs.
From a tactile standpoint:
I can’t give any comment on the silicone implants, because I haven’t had a chance to “feel them out.” But I have had opportunity to feel the saline implants, and with my girlfriends that had them, they just didn’t feel quite right. Not bad exactly, just not quite right. My girlfriends that had natural breasts were all good, except one, who’s DD’s were just so saggy that they would roll into her armpits when we switched to missionary. In the feel department, I would prefer real ones. Then again, there are good and bad ones on either side of the fence, so you could presumably have a really good fake rack and win out over someone who had a pretty bad natural one.
It all just depends on the particular boob, I guess.

Rita G has real boobs that are too perfect.
They look like they have to be fake, but Howard Stern had an ultra sound done on her boobs to see if she had implants.
I have never met a girl in real life that had boobs that firm and shapely and D or DD. Boobs like Keeley’s or Rita G’s are probably more rare then 7 foot tall guys the are height weight proportionate.
There was a girl in high school the that had very firm, very round large Bs or small Cs. If she wasn’t only 14 she they came in; seeing her boobs I would have assumed they were implants.

I think that Catherine Bell had a lift with a small implant added. Also I am pretty sure Madonna has had the same thing.
I am suprised that your boobs look so good Becca. Usually when a girl is as flat as you said you were the implant’s outline is visible. DId you go with under the muscle? Your skin looks to be very healthy and having good skin elasticity seems to help with an augmentation having good results.
How long are your implants supposed to last for? Do you need to wear a sports bra when jogging or playing sports?

Ironically no. I had a few friends who’d gotten implants, and one of my friends had really nice boobs and recommended Dr. Eisenberg to me. He has one of the best reputations in my city and is known for doing very natural looking work(his website is http://www.lookingnatural.com). I scheduled a consultation with him, and I liked what I heard so I didn’t bother to shop around after that. Perhaps I should have, just for comparison sake. Most times it is not a good idea to decide on a surgeon after meeting only one. But since I chose one that had a good rep, it turned out okay.

Oh yes, I agree! Usually the more expensive boob jobs are going to look a lot better. I read that Tara Reid’s first boob job was botched because she rushed into it without researching a good surgeon or what she wanted from the boob job. For example, she didn’t realize that she needed a lift before implants, and her surgeon never suggested it to her even though she needed it to achieve the look that she wanted.

Why thank you! 🙂 I wasn’t completely “flat” in the literal sense, but very close to it. The reason the implant’s outline isn’t vey visible, is because yes my doctor went under the muscle. Also, my doctor specifically told me what sizes I was able to achieve. My doctor is not the type that will give an A-cup girl DDD’s; if he did that, then they wouldn’t look natural and they’d look all stretched out. Although I sometimes wish they were a cup bigger, people constantly tell me that I got a good proportionate size and they’re glad I didn’t go too superhuge.
As far as the implant’s outline, the outline used to be more visible but then over time, the implants dropped into place and the outline became less visible. You can still see the outline sometimes, such as when I lean over topless(along the side) or when I wear an underwire bra that pushes my boobs waaaay up(but I guess that occurs for anyone?). If anything, I’ve seen a lot of boob jobs that look more natural than mine. But that’s probably because those girls weren’t as flat as me pre-surgery, so they had more skin and tissue to work with.
“How long are your implants supposed to last for?”
Saline-filled implants last an average of 7-10yrs. Sometimes they last for much longer! I’m counting on getting re-surgery around 7yrs from now(by that time, I’ll be at the 9-yr mark). The saline implants last shorter than silicone gel implants, because they are more prone to leakage or rippling, but I’d rather go the safe route(saline) than the possible risks of silicone. Sure silicone is supposed to look and feel better, but I already like my saline boobs, so that’s not much of an issue.
“Do you need to wear a sports bra when jogging or playing sports?”
No I don’t. I was required to wear a sports bra for the first week after surgery, but that was it. To be honest, sports bras are very restricting and anything that is overly tight makes my chest hurt. If anything, I don’t have to wear a bra as much as people with “natural” breasts do, since my boobs are less prone to sagging.
LOL here’s something VERY interesting for you guys: Have you ever heard of a female’s breasts getting slightly bigger or fuller right before her period? Well, my boobs pre-surgery sucked because they NEVER got bigger. PMS, weight gain, even pregnancy had NO effect on them whatsoever. It was sad. Well, ever since I got my surgery, my boobs have been getting slightly bigger at certain points in the month or following weight gain. It’s so weird! I do not know why this is…perhaps the foreign substance stimulated the hormones or whatever? I don’t know. Pre-surgery, I was self conscious about putting on weight, because all the weight would go to my thighs and stomach(i.e., pear shape) and make my boobs look even smaller(proportionately speaking) in comparison. But post-surgery, I don’t mind putting on weight. After my ex-boyfriend passed away last fall, I was depressed and put on 10-15lbs…but I didn’t look “fat,” because it distributed evenly. This is the reason why I go from a medium C to a small D and back, all in the course of a month ha ha.

Becca, your boobs look great (at least in your shirt) and they obviously make you feel better as a person, so who-the-fuck cares what i or anyone else thinks.
I am sure that there are guys who notice you now that didn’t before–but I am willing to bet its not always just your boobs, rather your increased confidence in your own attractiveness which allows you to radiate that “notice-me” vibe that comes through even in your photograph.

Thanks to everyone! Also, I agree that part of the increased attention might come from my increased confidence as well as the increased breast size. I think it’s a win-win situation.
In the past, people mistaked me for being very innocent and meek. This was mostly because I had very young looks(e.g., I was 21 but looked 16) and I came across as shy around everyone but people I knew very well. Guys sized me up to be “too innocent” and as a result were a bit leery about going out with me. Once I got boobs, people got a different perception of me…a better one!(at least in my opinon; my father would probably disagree though lol)…guys were finally seeing me as someone who’d be willing to hook up, not just some cute friend’s-little-sister-next-door type. My one friend Jay was like, “Back in 2001 when we all first met…back when some of us were prudish.” I said, “What? I was never a prude.” I wanted to say, Hello! You guys judged before getting to know me! LOL it took having a more sexy look before guys realized this.

fake boobs are like tats… they are signs that a girl is more ‘loose’. It’s not always reality or a direct correlation, but there is some truth to it. She wants people to notice her physically…and in most cases is willing to show off parts of her body she’s proud of.
Guys like both things because they think they are more likely going to score.

I have been seeing a lot of bad tattoos around lately.
I want go up to the girls and lick my thumb and rub it off, because hopefully its just a bad fake tattoo. And when spit on thumb doesn’t work I apply the tongue.
But in most cases I have shown restraint and have not done any of this. And the times when I haven’t been able to show restraint have often lead to awkward moments.

Smash, although I will not agree that girls with fake boobs are necessarily “looser,” I will agree that guys DO perceive girls with fake boobs(or ANY big boobs, natural or fake) to be “easier.” For most girls, that can work to a disadvantage and garner her unwanted attention from some guys. For me, this actually worked to my advantage, since I am single, looking, and enjoy the attention. Pre-surgery, I would sometimes get disregarded as the innocent little girl type…completely not like me…but that is how guys perceived me, and as a result I had a lot of trouble scoring with guys my age or older.
Smash, as far as how “loose” a girl is…not true. A girl can have sex 10X a day and STILL be fairly tight, if she has good genetics and/or does Kegal exercises to strengthen those muscles. A girl can be a virgin(or only have had sex a few times in her life) but be on the looser side. Trust me, I’ve asked guys about this.
I had a friend who started having sex at age 13 and had it pretty frequently(boyfriends, steady fuck-buddies, one night stands, all of it). An ex of mine hooked up with her and apparently she was pretty tight…tighter than I was when this same ex had taken my virginity. 🙁 (How embarrassing) Actually, more than a few guys said that about this friend. Meanwhile, I had another friend who didn’t have sex until college…later I overheard her “first” and his guy buddies making innuendos that implied that she wasn’t the tightest. Then there is me…apparently I haven’t loosened up very much at all in the last 8 years, I feel almost the same. Basically if a girl is waiting because she doesn’t want her future husband to think she is “loose,” then she is wasting her time!

“Loose” is old people talk for “easy”. He is saying that the perception that there is a fair chance that a lass is a harlot or a strumpet, if her bosom has been amplified via medical procedure.

I also was saying that it is the perception men have, not necessarily the reality.
However, there is a ring of truth to it as someone who’s had body modification is more likely to show it off.
Angelbaby said to me in IM that she doesn’t think that is necessarily true anymore as tats have become more common for college age women to do. I still think they are more likely to show you and that makes it a little bit easier to score.

Okay I understand now. I think that implants are becomming more common along with tattoos(not as common as tattoos, but a lot more common than they were 20-30yrs ago).
As far as girls with implants being “easier,” it can go either way. My friend has implants and she’s been in a monogamous relationship for 7yrs now, so she’s less easy than average. But then there’s people like me, that got implants partly because I wanted to look more like my own ideal of beauty, and partly because I knew that I would like the added sexual attention. Then again, I can’t really say that the ‘sexual attention’ was a reason I got them done, since at the time of my surgery I was in a very committed relationship(I didn’t indulge in the extra sexual attention until a year later, when the relationship ended). It can go either way.
But as far as guys perceptions(which aren’t always accurate, but accuracy is irrelevant here), I do agree that a guy will perceive a busty girl(natural OR fake) to be “easier” than average. Especially if she is wearing a cleavage-bearing tight top.

I prefer both! The natural girls I have been with have been great when in the upright position. However, the joy of real disappears when they are ontheirbacks and the boobs go to either armpit,leaving the chest flat.
However, the women with great fakes, have proud straight up breast as you screw them. they bounce up and down with each thrust.
