Men. Women. Can the two coexist without sexual tension? In my opinion, honestly, it works out if one or the other is wholly unattractive, both are in happy relationships (as if such a thing truly exists), or if one of the two is homosexual. So, then that brings us down to the majority of the fucking race, doesn’t it? The single individuals, in their co-ed friendships, secretly harboring sexual feelings for their “friends.” It’s a mad fucking conspiracy, the entire theory of male/female relationships. If you are sitting there right now, shaking your head, saying “That’s not true.” Test the theory. Call your male friends ladies, tell them in explicit detail what you want to do to them behind closed doors, and see how strong the friendship-only line stands. Hands down, you would be screwed. Pun intended. And moving on.
Women, this is the year 2002, not 1902, right? We are still fighting double standards, stereotypes, and common “whore” labels at every turn. It’s not only from men, it’s from the women as well. I don’t quite understand why women are as big of sluts as men are… it’s not exactly female liberation. It’s sexual over-liberation, and that is just the spawn of decades, if not centuries of sexual retention and the theory of Freud of hysteria caused by the stress of maintaining a societally labeled decent image, ie. marriage. We all know damned well, that girls do not wait until they are married. That is a comfort zone for the sex-scared adolescents, and 16, by fact, is the average age of losing that cherry of innocence. I would like to see women stand up against sex being a status, and bring it back down to what it should be – sharing, passion, give and take, lust, love, something other than status.
No degree of feminism will ever break down that double standard that men carry for women… sluts are fuckable, good for some short entertainment, but then when they grasp some small corner of human decency, they suddenly get self righteous and want someone pure, clean, someone who hasn’t shared in as many drunken, careless nights with strangers as they have. The double standard of oral sex, as well, seems to go unnoticed. Men can demand at any time, in any circumstances, for them to be serviced, but for women.. it is somehow different. Men can run around like unbathed scoundrels, still smelling of the last conquest, but women must be bathed, shaved, primped, and perfect. Double standard, much?
And this goes out to the ladies, or for the men that have those women that lie like fish under the sheets. Lighten up. Sex, if you’re going to do it, at least make the effort worth while – for both partners. This doesn’t really apply for the street skanks, the ones that I would ever so kindly label, the town bicycles.. this is the for the population of women, that I hope to God still exist over a percentile of 10. That hoped above 10%, would be the decent women I am refering to. The ones that aren’t closeted in, the ones that enjoy having sex, having passion, pleasing themselves and their partners. It’s a give and take situation. Yes, men are ready 24/7 to rip your clothes off (or just partially 😉 at any time, but every man likes to feel like he is wanted, and not just “doing his duty.”
Be vocal ladies, men love it. Wear sexy lingerie, smell good, take care of yourselves for God’s sake, try not to look like a fucking ho, just be sexy – for him. It doesn’t matter if you are introverted in real life, when you are in bed with a man, act like it. There is nothing sexier for a man than having that “innocent” girl break the night with a hearty scream of a good natured “Fuck me.” K? So, catch a clue, if you’re prude, be prude, your man won’t stay with you long. Tease him, talk dirty to him, tell him what you want him to do, as most men really are clueless what it takes to satisfy each woman. Invest in some candles, some non-christmas-present-from-granny untieable G-strings, massage lotions, and experiment. Have fun.
Men, if you are demanding, your woman is not going to want to do anything for you. Be kind. If you had some guy shoving your head into his lap, would you be happy about it?
Keep your hands away from her head! <--Random thought, thank God that never happened to me, I would have gone to jail like Lorena Bobbet. Try to understand the nature of a woman and what she wants, that is more than animalistic fucking and getting off. Women need to be treated gently at times, and other times, want to be your person slut, if it makes you happy. Be in tune with her. Find her erogenous zones, go there often, linger, tease, it’s about foreplay for a woman to achieve orgasm. And I hope you are man enough to at least try bringing a woman to a screaming climax. And keep your fucking mouths closed. The minute she finds out that you are revealing bedroom events to your good old beer drinking buddies on a commerical break from the football game, you’ll be out of the ball game with her. Have some damned respect.
Be protected at all times. Keep it verticle 😉
keep it verticle! lol

I agree with you about the whole double standard thing, especially your point about oral sex. Most guys tend to have their fun, but then roll over and pass out right after. I’m a big believer in reciprocation.
Oh, and about the whole "Kiss (Hump?) and tell" thing, all of my friends don’t brag about "gettin’ some. If they’re single, they’ll ramble on incessantly about how they could have got some, but as soon as they are getting some, they shut up. Funny how that works, huh?

one more thing.. its sad that the double standards do exsist. I am not proud of the chicks I "banged" in college.. If asked now, I tell the girls I date, "I don’t want to talk about it"… so I feel a change a come’n!!

#11 | Comment by Miss Shigatsu — June 11, 2002 @ 1:12 am
a good man in bed would not be defined as a tiger i think. but rather a rabbit. you’d have to think about it.

concernig this-
"I would like to see women stand up against sex being a status, and bring it back down to what it should be – sharing, passion, give and take, lust, love, something other than status."
I thought sex was about procreation. of course its enjoyable, if it wasnt we would die out.

To the other Nick: Just be glad you weren’t named something overly generic like "John" or "Chris"

the real double standard come to play when us men want our gf & wives to be sluts or whores in the bedrooms but u don’t want to think about where they learned all that … ain’t that right ladies !!!

I am in total agreement on many of your points on double standards and sterotypes. I am 25 and a recent missouri university graduate 12/03, and i can tell you i "enjoyed" my college carreer. I can tell you i would much rather be with a woman that has "been" with people and knows what she likes and how to enjoy herself in bed and be able to be comfortable with herself sexually. Those are traits that are hard to find. SUPER article. i mentioned it to alot of people.

that’s why affairs are so hot! i’ve never met a married man who doesn’t live up to his end of the bargain in the bedroom.

Are you for real?
You are talking about breaking stereotypes…while posing in a bra and panties?
Start with the woman in the mirror before casting stones.
#29 | Comment by Cher — September 18, 2004 @ 4:37 am
Sure Cher, last I checked the woman in the mirror enjoyed wearing sexy lingerie. In fact it is the norm today to see undergarments as outerwear. What the hell are you bitching about? Doublestandard indeed.
