29 11 2002I wanted to post about the little prank that me, alex and jen are playing on alex’s stepbro David. He ordered one of those motored scooters…i dunno what they are called but it was like a grand, and he has been waiting for it for a while, well the UPS guy just came and dropped it off and we decieded that we are hiding it and i am telling him that the guy came and I sent him away. If any of you knew him, you would know how funny this will be because he is kinda uptight sometimes. Anyway, I just wanted to post about me hiding that thing. I am going to see THEY tonight, has anyone seen it? Cause I think it looks really stupid, and I want to know from someone who has seen it…..maybe it is coming out today, i dunno..oh yeah….

Also, Boxing Day is the day after Christmas.

Well if you’re gonna get technical, the Canadian Thanksgiving and the American Thanksgiving are two seperate holidays…Although similar, you can’t really say it originated in Canada since they’re holidays that commemorate different events. Some may attribute the similiarities to media influences that eventually made the two holidays nearly indistinctive, nevertheless, they ARE different.
To say that Thanksgiving as a whole originated in Canada is also a fallacy. Hell, it’s not even the first recorded Thanksgiving on North America. Juan Ponce De Leon’s Thanksgiving in Florida preceded Frobisher’s by almost 50 years. Francisco Vasquez de Coronado also beat the Canadians in a Thanksgiving in Texas.
I think it is ironic that people think most Americans are ignorant, while overlooking their own ignorance and belief in false assumptions.
thanksgiving is really cool although this year it was a little scary for me ……..scarier than halloween.
i was just sitting down in the sofa to watch a movie and my mom and dad werent home.suddenly there was a phone call *tring triiiiing*
i got up and answered the phone….a really wiered voice started to threaten me like u r gonna get killed and all.at first i was like really freaked out.
after a while i heard someone enter through the back door….when i went to the kitchen i saw two people dressed in ’scream’like costume with knives in their hand.
it didnt take me long to realise they were my friends b’coz the dog wasnt barking at them but licking their feet and sniffing there stuff.
(why do dogs do that…???)
after i busted their cover we all had a nice turkey dinner and all.so in the end it was like thanksgiving.
But anyone ……i mean anyone trying to try that prank again on somebody make sure your victim dosent have a dog that knows you.
lame prank but it scared me …..the scary part increased my appetite so i ate like a fourth of the turkey alone.

yeah thanksgiving has got to be one of the most boring holidays. and whoever before was right, fin means end i believe.
Thanksgiving’s not that boring, it’s all about eating turkey, spending time with the family, and being all thankful.
