You got two choices. Option A: You go see this movie. Option B: I make you see this movie.

Quite possibly the funniest, best action movie i’ve seen all year. REALLY fun. I suggest you all go see it this weekend.

I saw it last night on VCD. Bought it for a grand total of US$1.17. Nyuk nyuk.

Anyhow, go see it. Trust me. It’s a really fun movie.

What Ebert and Roeper had to say about it:

  • Wildly inventive.
  • The film marks the arrival of The Rock as a good actor who could turn into something very impressive. He is very convincing.
  • Christopher Walken is brilliant.
  • Great sound effects and camera work. Excellent fighting choreography.
  • Seann William Scott shows that he can do something better than the American Pie series.
  • Walken is worth the price of admission.

And if you need any more convincing, you get to see a monkey hump The Rock’s face.

  6. What did Siskel have to say about this movie is what I am dying to know.

    How is it that the fat man lasts before the skinny man…makes you wonder about which lifestyle is healthier.

  7. Justin::
    Have you seen ‘Lost in Translation’? If yeah, what did you think of it? Bill Murray rocks, so I went to see it right after work today. I really liked the movie, I just can’t say why. I figure since you’re more of a movie buff than I am you could voice an opinion. I think the chick in the movie was kind of humpable (at least in the movie), and you can’t beat how the movie starts out.

    haven’t seen lost in translation yet. i’ll try to pick it up if i see it on vcd or dvd. should be really good. it’s been getting rave reviews everywhere. i liked sofia coppola’s first movie, the virgin suicides. great directorial debut. i dont think she can ever do any wrong. i’m looking forward to lost in translation.

    funny how the rundown is already on vcd and lost in translation isnt. ah well. should be out sooner or later.
