Holy shit.

"Although medics who found Tegtmeyer's bloodied body amidst a sea of broken glass initially pronounced him dead at the scene, he began breathing while in transit with paramedics and was fully resuscitated by doctors. (As of 2 June 2004, Tegtmeyer was reported as being in serious condition at Miami Valley Hospital.)" [From Justin's link above]

Now, that would make a really good reality TV show on FOX.

I hate pedestrians too. One ran into the road in front of a truck that I was following, causing the truck to slam its brakes and me to rear-end the truck.

I think i saw this clip on a TV show a while back. I think it was one of those realTV cable clones.

Whenever you see clips like that, i always assume it is fake. It makes it more crazy to know it is real.

Maybe if you didnt hug the guy's bumper like a pair of huggies you could have avoided said accident? Probably not. Fucking tard

Anyway on topic:
Doesnt matter if the guy was jaywalking or not. Pedestrians always have the right of way, otherwise you have the right to remain silent.... ect ect ect.

It may not be murder but it can still be manslaughter or assault with a deadly weapon (a car) if you arent careful.

But seriously, how fucked up did the guy in the PT cruiser have to be to run a redlight that had been red for 28 seconds? I mean Jesus, he must have been asleep or getting a blowjob, or both. Either way he is in a world of legal pain now.

or....

The accident seen in the video occurred at 12:40 p.m. on 23 May 2004 at the intersection of Third Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard in Dayton, Ohio. Betty J. Hayslip, 75, of New Lebanon, driving a PT Cruiser, ran a red light and struck a Subaru driven by Albertina L. Walker, 41, of Dayton.

I can read, yaaaaaay.

I wasn't on the guy's ass. The pedestrian ran out in front of the road at a point where another road dead ended into the one I was traveling on. The truck in front of me put its brakes on, I put my brakes on moderately because I wasn't all over his ass and I was expecting him to make a turn. I realized too late that he was at a dead stop and I slammed my brakes but didn't stop in time to avoid tapping his back bumper. My car was fine, all the damge was to his.

edit: to clarify, I never saw the pedestrian until after I hit the truck. The truck blocked my view of him running out into the road.
