Acutally I've found that the North American HBO episodes are a lot like the British stuff. In fact in a couple episodes they actually used clips from the British show that were probably shot 4 years ago.

By the way, he also made a movie, it's called Ali G: Indahouse

The "Funkyzeit Mit Bruno" skit where he goes to Daytona Beach for Spring Break is fucking funny as hell to. The Posh and Becks interview is great also...

Borat > ali g > bruno

i think borat's a way better interviewer than his alter egos.

borat is too much. if you go to the unoffical borat site they go back and get interviews with people that borat has interviewed its pretty funny. i dont understand why this show isn't more popular. i hope hbo brings it back for another season. i have a feeling that if the dvd of the first season sells well they will.

i can touch ?

Yep, know who those people are, & the magazines.....
Sad I know, I used to read Smash Hits as well, there is an Aussie version.

Betty Boo came over here to Australia & was caught out LipSync-ing when her eqipment stopped working at the Metro, sad, very sad.
hahahahahahahaha

I am sure there are other Ali-G movies around, I can't think of their names offhand.

I've never seen anything with Ali G in it... Nor do I care to.

Eddie Furlong is fat.

finally got through watching all 6 episodes (i took my time). i really wonder HOW in the hell he got all those big name people to agree to be interviewed by him. i take it that they all weren't aware that it's all a joke. hm. i must do more research into the whole ali g lore.

Props for the Ali G plug :D:D

You gotta get his book, Da Gospel According to Ali G... fucking hilarious.

And yea, my sister used to frequent the Big Bopper and all those mags. We still have Take That powers somewhere.

Edit: Oh yea, neglected the odd info. I was at my sister's apt and she handed me that book. Apparently her boyfriend had 'borrowed' it for a while. So yea, first I heard of Ali G in months and then I check fubar :D
