Acutally I've found that the North American HBO episodes are a lot like the British stuff. In fact in a couple episodes they actually used clips from the British show that were probably shot 4 years ago.

borat is too much. if you go to the unoffical borat site they go back and get interviews with people that borat has interviewed its pretty funny. i dont understand why this show isn't more popular. i hope hbo brings it back for another season. i have a feeling that if the dvd of the first season sells well they will.

finally got through watching all 6 episodes (i took my time). i really wonder HOW in the hell he got all those big name people to agree to be interviewed by him. i take it that they all weren't aware that it's all a joke. hm. i must do more research into the whole ali g lore.

Edit: Oh yea, neglected the odd info. I was at my sister's apt and she handed me that book. Apparently her boyfriend had 'borrowed' it for a while. So yea, first I heard of Ali G in months and then I check fubar
