Mmm. Not much to report. Traded in some of my old games to get Burnout 3 Takedown for Xbox yesterday. Best. Game. Ever. At least until Halo 2 comes out of course.

Also picked up some must buy DVDs.

Clerks X 10th Anniversary Edition (3 disc set!)

Dawn Of The Dead Ultimate Edition (4 disc set!)

Oh and Jersey Girl too.

Could've probably just held off on buying those DVDs for a while though. Since i have absolutely no desire at all to watch them at the moment. I tell ya, Burnout 3... it's just fucking amazing. Funnest game ever. My sore thumb and cramped hand can attest to that. And so can my voice too (i seem to have lost it... all that shouting and swearing really took its toll). Definitely better than fucking Project Gotham Racing 2. You fucking give people a little love tap in that game and they all fucking freak out and bitch at you. Now with Burnout 3, there's none of that. This game encourages you to ram the shit out of everyone else. Good times.

Anyhow, Fable comes out next week. Definitely getting that. Halo 2 is a no brainer. But that comes out November 9th. Not sure if i wanna get GTA San Andreas though. Maybe i'll just get my mom to buy the bootleg and send it over via mail. That and MGS3 too. That'll save me 100 bucks. Yep. I'll do that when the time comes.

Very nice. Will look into that. I got The Punisher yesterday. Hadn't seen it, thought it was pretty cool. I really just wanted the Saw teaser disc that came with Punisher, though.

Burnout 3 is an awesome game, I spent many a drunken night trying to get golds in all the crash levels. I am soo waiting for fable, though it will be tough because chains of promethia ( FFXI expansion for PC ) also comes out next week some time, and that seems to swallow up a good deal of my life. I  FFXI.

Side note:
Hmm I think chains comes out on the 21st so I might get a week in on Fable :omfg:

Side note to a side note:
When i went on my east coast tour, I had a chance to stop in at both the Quick Stop and "Jay and Silent Bobs Secret Stash", Kevin Smiths comic shop.

A few of the Quick Stop

I've got Halo2 reserved, but what I can't wait to play is Donkey Konga.
Back when the Dreamcast was popular I had Samba De Amigo but could never get a pair of maraca controllers.
Now, I can play with a fucking BONGO controller.... yeah I know, I need help.

Woot Woot Clerks 2!
me too (took a road trip with a friend last year from maine to NJ)... we went to the Quickstop (and went inside) and the RST video store (didnt go inside, dunno why) and Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash, where I met none other then Dante Hicks himself, Brian O'Halloran - amazing coincidence, as he just happened to be in the neighborhood with a friend at the exact time, and he was stopping by to say hi to Walt Flannagan who runs the Stash store - very lucky on my part... if youre interested Purge you can see some of the pics I took here... and I cant wait for Clerks 2 either...

(sigh)...
When you click on that guy's photolog (with the clerks pictures)... The title at the top of the window says "take the len's cap off"... Unless this guy's name is Len, this is the worst case of grammar EVER. That's not even MISUSING a contraction, it's substituting in a contraction that sounds like the word that he wanted to use. That SUCKS, and if you're in college, you should be ashamed. tsk tsk tsk...
Grammar is IMPORTANT!

Just a quick note on your purchase of dawn of the dead ultimate edition, check out the third review of it here:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... =glance

You should have waited for the "director's cut" of it.

I too bought burnout 3 for the ps2 yesterday. The game is pretty sick. AND it's also progressive scan capable meaning i can finally utilize 480p mode on my hi-def TV and component video cables (since i'm too broke to pay hundreds of dollars a month for HD programming). I like the "crashbreaker" option... really adds that extra "fuck you". I finished the USA grand prix before I passed out from exhaustion/lack of sleep. I wonder if we can play each other online even though you have Xbox and I have ps2.

GTA: SA is going to ruin my life. http://ps2.ign.com/articles/544/544428p1.html

For the last couple of weeks, I have been playing Doom 3. Absolutely killer game!! Only bad thing is......I have a 2.8 Celeron, with a gig of ram, and a 128 meg video card and i can only run the game in 1080 x 760. It just eats all of your computer resources . Even at that resolution, it is a beautiful game, and a couple of times, it made me jump right out of the ol' computer chair. I strongly recommend it, but if you get it, you better have a computer that can nut up.............

I have:
Processor: Pentium 4 2.8 E
Memory: 512 DDR
Video Card: e-GeForce FX 5700 Ultra

and I still run Doom 3 at 800x600 med quality because it hardly looks any diffrent than high, ultra quaity is just insane. I can run it at those settings, almost max rez, but I hate the 2 second buffer I get every so often. The lower rez and texture setting doesn't really hurt the appearance of the game and makes for smooth sailing. I love it.
