Fantastic 4
Well, you can't please everyone.sheepdog wrote: I will be the first (and only?) to say that Jessica Alba looks like she'll do fine as the invisible woman.
But then again, I'm no comic fanboy.
Don't get me wrong; I like Jess and believe she will do just fine as Sue Storm albeit a little too young.
Maybe it's just me.

I read a script review over at AICN a while ago, and that worried the hell out of me. The footage, however, looks fucktastic. I guess it could be good ... if they rewrote that script ... at least we know it'll be a fun fucker of a movie to watch, because it has so many effects and action to really play with and blow our minds with. I can't see this movie "sucking" ... I can see the story sucking and the action being awesome .... it'll be a good movie, there is no doubt on that. I'm still hoping Star Wars looks great (we'll see clips this week on ET, Thursday I'd guess) ... and I've read the script for Batman, and all things there point to a great movie. Looks like we could have a good summer ahead of us ... Fantastic Four, Batman, Star Wars ... and, I think, King Kong and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

You can say that after they dug up the corpse of Isaac Asimov and raped it by making that piece of shit movie I, Robot? Most of Will Smith's movies are just generic Hollywood crap that is so predictable and repetetive that instead of going to watch his latest movie, you might as well just hire a movie he has already done in that genre and watch that instead.heineken wrote:Will Smith IS movies.Kain wrote:will smith makes movies?jimthej00 wrote: july 4th? i thought the only guy who released movies on july 4th was will smith....

Dude, people have been thinking that for ages - just look at the Gaming industry and you will see a clear trend of shit story and/or gameplay trying to be drowned out by the newest shiny graphics that the developers can get their hands on. Hollywood doesn't think much different - and yet movies like El Mariachi and Clerks (both made with shit all money) are classics that didn't have awesome special effects.
