If you're getting Halo 2 and you'd like to play against other fubar members sometime, put your gamertags in the comments and add each other.

Oh and remember, Halo 2 works a little bit differently on Live. You can either play <b>ranked</b> matchmade games (you're randomly assigned to play with random maps, random parameters and random people) <b>OR</b> <b>unranked</b> arranged games (somebody sets up a game and invites other people into the game).
So if we have enough people to get a good fubar game going, it'll have to be an unranked arranged game so that we can invite each other to play. Just FYI if you didn't already know.
God, i hope the Xbox Live holds up. There's gonna be well over a million people all around the world playing this game tomorrow.

The servers are actually very robust, just played a a game earlier with 8 in it on a basic 512 broadband host, if youve a 1meg line you should be able to host the full 16 without too much lag
(DO NOT play on normal start it on Heroic, thats not even rock hard, Legendary however is a bugger to complete)
By the way play single player all the way through because as soon as you start playing online you wont go back to single player,not that it isnt good just multiplayer is fuckin awesome

I just finished playing espn basketball 2k5, :-p go fig, but yeah im getting my halo tomarrow, so ill definetly be on, keep this thread up or something, and we can make it sort of a posting for game times; monthly,weekly,daily 0.0 or something. Just a thought.
and lets just hope it works better then some of the games did, ::cough pgr2::,

I won't be playing Halo on Live for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that I loathed the original. Playing a first-person shooter with a controller is an abomination and makes the baby Jesus cry. I'd consider playing with a keyboard and mouse, but then read a poll of players on the internet who thought that it would make the game unfair. Poor, sad, fanboy bastards.
