Might have to get it too. I'm sure all the extras will help kill the borring hours between work and classes. Plus it has postcards :P

Bonus features suck. I don't think I ever put in disk 2 of Spiderman 1.

I'm getting the Superbit version tomorrow morning. DTS surround sound ^_^

Wow, that is a lot of stuff! I am not the biggest fan of Spider-man, but like snit said, I can use all the commentaries, featurettes to pass time when work is slow.

Are there any other movies with that many extras?

Wow... I need to get that Spiderman DVD set. I'm a Spiderman addict, and the latest Spiderman game is pretty good too.

Side note: Anyone else noticing the speed increase? B)

I like listening to director's commentary, moreso if it's someone funny. Club Dread commentary > *.

this dvd comes out today btw. just in case you didn't already know.

the collectors gift set should run you about 35 bucks over at best buy. it'll probably be 40+ by the end of the week though. pick it up while it's still cheaper!

(or you could just get the regular 2 disc set for probably under $20)

Im going to Best Buy and buying the cheap ol' edition for 14.99 and Best Buy has an exclusive 3 disc so Im not going to pony up that much money for the limited edition set. Plus Im probly going to buy the Adam Sandler collection for 19.99 and I might buy DareDevil Directors Cut still deciding if its worth the 12.99.

That's a lot of features, I sure hope they remembered to put the movie in there somewhere. I didn't see it listed on either disc.

How much is this anyway?

You are damn right i am going to get it. I already have the comic book though, but having a nice crisp new print of it might be nice to have anyways. I am such a nerd.

As for the DVD extras i watched every single dvd extra on both disks of Spider-man 1, listened to all audio commentaries etc. I have done the same for the two LOTR extended editions that have come out, so thats alot of movie watching. All the extra stuff , like the postcards and other collectables are a must have for a comic nerd such as myself.

I leave you all with a picture of my idol.

Edit: I know i have the shittiest webcam ever. Don't rub it in.
