So, you think a gallon of gasoline is expensive?
Well, this is what it costs to buy a gallon of...

Gatorade, 20 oz. for $1.59 equals $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray, 16 oz, for $1.25 equals $10.00 per gallon
Pint of milk, 16 oz. for $1.59 equals $12.72 per gallon
STP Brake Fluid, 12 oz, for $3.15 equals $33.60 per gallon
Vicks Nyquil, 6 oz. for $8.35 equals $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol, 4 oz. for $3.85 equals $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout, 7 oz. for $1.39 equals $25.42 per gallon

$21.19 FOR WATER!!
Meh, thought I'd share this with you guys.

Expanding on my lil Angelbabe's comment. 24 16.9 ounce bottles of water at Office Depot are merely $7.14 or $.30 each. That's almost double the amount quoted in his stupid post.
<a href='http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?lev ... =0&An=text' target='_blank'>buy water</a>
Not to mention the lunacy of the topic to begin with. The liquids listed in this list perform tasks not fuel automobiles. We might as well compare it all to the cost of urine and bile for all the practicality this has.
Hey, I don't make the prices, I just post the the way they are shown. Personally, I've never seen a 1.5 oz bottle of Scope. I have a quart size that I paid 3 bucks for. However, 3x4 is 12. The idea is not to point out that these fluids can be used to power things. Its to make people see that they are paying more for even more useless things.
(I am against the institution of bottled water for sale...Water should be a free commodity.)

These things are not less useful than gas, and unlike someone who has obviously never bought a gallon of milk or water anywhere, these things are used in far less quantities than gas...and I'm willing to bet some of them have a far lower rate of mark up, you tool of internet chain letters from 4 years ago.

Christ. It's a sad day when I find myself agreeing with The Colonel over your dumb-ass thread. How do you consider scope, milk, and white out to be useless things?
Also, your gay thread is trying to stretch the truth by using smaller quantity bottles of those products such as your 1.5 ounce bottle of scope (a travel bottle, you moron). By this rational I think if you went to the gas station daily and bought 8 ounces of gas at a time you'd find it costs WELL more than this list suggests.
Btw..stop the gay threads, stop the gay replies to every new topic. You aren't winning any posting race here. Unless you are shooting for the title of Grand Douche.

The idea of it was to put perspective on what you pay for everything else. When you look at it in that light, you'll see that gas isn't really all that expensive. Then again, I get the impression that they are pushing us to the 10 buck limit so they can force us into buying Hybrid cars that use only a gallon of gas. Make sense?
And FYI, you guys are hilarious if you think I act the same way IRL.
