Batman Begins

Post by JustSumDude » 19 Jun 2005 06:05

Finally got to see it yesterday. It is truly awesome. Well written, brilliantly executed by Christopher Nolan and superbly acted (how can it not be with the power house cast?). Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne/Batman. He does a simply amazing job playing both Wayne, and his Dark Knight alter ego.It is, by far, the best movie based on a "major" comic book icon ever. I loved it even more than the Spider-Man films, and that's saying a lot, because I really love both of those movies, too.

One of the greatest things about this movie? (Spoiler warning!!) None of the villains were killed off by movie's end. You're given the impression Ra's Al Ghul kicks the bucket, but you don't see him die. That always pissed me off in the previous franchise films when they'd kill of the villains. So lame.

If you haven't already, get off your ass and go see "Batman Begins." It is good times. *thumbs up*

I wish they would have used the regular Batmobile instead of the new thing they used for this movie.

I concur. Batman was awesome. I have no problem with the new Batmobile, and in fact the way he acquired all his gear was explained rather nicely. It makes far more sense for it to be a prototype military vehicle, as you can imagine that comissioning someone to build one would be rather detrimental to the whole "secret identity" bit.

This is the CORRECT way to make a SERIOUS superhero movie....but will Hollywood change it's ways? I say no. That being said....what a movie! Perfect in every way.

The tumbler ruled.
his gear was awesome.
Bale ruled as Batman. No one better.

Batman was so good that I wrote a review on it.... and I'm too fucking lazy to write reviews usually.

Awesome...totally awesome.

I too thought it ranked as one of the best comic movies ever. Right up there with Spidey and X2.

Oh, and the Tumbler was hawt. B)

Now If I could only get a bastard who has seen it to review it on my site (looks at JustSumDude)...since I am a loser who will likely never see it any time soon.

I just wish that the story line would have been a bit more in tact with the origional comic book. That was the only flaw in the movie to me. Other than that it was great

I felt that the changes they made were necessary to transfer the story to film.
