I want to be excited. I really do. But I'm not really.

Why you ask? Because the players should have caved a long time ago. Look at it this way, if they would have agreed to the old CBA they would have gotten a better deal. Now they are getting the royal shaft. And they (read JR) say that they just want to get back on the ice...yeah right. Its more like the players now know that they realized they couldn't win and want to "get back on the ice" to make some more freakin money. Arrogant, greedy sons of bitches!

But I'll still watch. I am particularly intrgued by the draft. I heard its gonna be held at the end of July. It will be interesting to see who gets the #1, ie. Sidney whatshisname.

From the onset I was on the owners side. Until the players handed them more than they were asking for. The owners had their minds made up as soon as Tampa won the cup that there would be no hockey this past year and they screwed all of us and in doing so they crippled the sport. Now with the semi-retarded rule changes the owners can go fuck themselves. I'll be attending Stars games but I'll be buying scapled tickets.

I did some research (googled) and found an article with every rule change that has beenbrought up recently.
<a href='http://proicehockey.about.com/od/rules/ ... e_game.htm' target='_blank'>most of them are dumb, some of them are ok.</a>

I am very sadded to hear all of this. This past year has been so great without my sportscenter being interupted by NHL playoffs or highlights. They should play hockey where people care like in Canada not where there is no natural ice.....
