Been around for awhile, but I figured I would post it for anyone who may not have any p2p protection.. Not foolproof at all, but probably the easiest p2p protection out there.

I update before every bittorrent download.

Do you get a list of sites it has blocked every time you use it? Sometimes I have a long list of sites; other times it shows no activity whatsoever.

Ok, I'm gonna get it, I got it a while back and it pretty much killed my internet, so after much tinkering and trying to get it all tweaked the way it should, I got rid of it and haven't got it back. So if theirs any problem, I'm hoping that ye will be able to help me, I'll report back soon...

If by "killed your internet" you referred to some sites not loading etc, in this version there's an option for allowing HTTP, which will make the internet run as though PG isn't even running. The "Allow HTTP" option is a great new feature of PG2.

Yep, certainly is, I've got it up and running now and it's all smooth, there have been a few teething problems working it with my firewall (ZoneAlarm Pro, I know, I know, I've been meaning to get a new one, but... meh), but that's fixed now. I'm happily d/ling new Family Guy (safely), so working all fine now, cheers Heineken.

I noticed it blocked sites like banking sites, etc when I left it on once by accident, but since I only use it when downloading torrents it isn't a problem as such, I use a different program as my main firewall.

What can you get while downloading torrents? I don't know anybody who has gotten anything from downloading torrents.

Are you just being safe just in case something does try and get on your computer through bit torrent?

I figure the two hardware firewalls are enough, but I don't really know enough about networking to be sure.

It isn't used primarily to stop hackers, etc, it is used to stop to stop copyright police from busting you for illegal file sharing.
