Dragon Ball Z.

Lol, just kidding. I still love astro boy to this day. Not that new shitty Astro boy that came out a few years back, the original.New Astro Boy blew balls compared to the old.

The nostalgic in me says the Robotech saga, as I used to watch it while eating my cereal in the mornings before going to school when I was a kid.

I suppose you could say it is what made me an anime fan in the first place...

That was my first (and pretty much only anime series) I watched, also as a kid...just much older. :D

I was confused for a while because of the three different Macross eras. My local tv station liked to show Day 1- Macross Saga, Day 2 - Southern Cross, Day 3 - (dont remember the third), and then restart the cycle on day 4 with another Macross.

I imagine Day 3 would have to have been the Invid Invasion. ;)

And yes, that's a gay way to show them...

I never knew they were totally different Japanese series, pieced together here in America, until Dex told me the other day.

I never knew <insert something blatantly sexual>, either, until Dex told me. :omfg:

I second Astro Boy.

It is time to record your report for the archive of the institute...

Ghost in the shell.

I love the "Blade Runner"-esque ambiguity in it. It's very Philip K Dick in its narrative and that why I like it.

I like Dick.

Uh, no. I don't think so. Granted, Spirited Away was good, but I would count Princess Mononoke better than that movie. Yeah, I thought that movie was 'ok', too. There are so many really good anime out there, but others that just fall a little flat or lose steam and take away from their potential greatness.

So, I suppose I'll just say 'Hello Kitty and Friends'.

I might have really enjoyed them and became a anime fan if not for that. As it was the Invid and the Southern Cross episodes just pissed me off because I wanted to watch them chronologically and I only wanted to see Macross (the start). So I felt more stupid than anything trying to piece together things.
