that was the dumbest line ever especially since right after she says that, she lets go of his hand.

I hate Titantic.

That was the only line I remembered from the whole movie. All 65 hours of it.

I think the line was more symbolic than literal.

Did you watch it high or drunk? I tried both and the combo and ended up giving my dvd away.

Seemed cool when everyone else talked about it - maybe that's the great part about it - it sounds cool.

The movie sucks nuts.

I just realized how shamelessly impressionable I am. Personally, I kind of liked Boondock Saints... but I took one look at this post title and thought "Yea.. I guess the movie did suck".

Just thought that was amusing. or sad... however you want to look at it. :P

Personally, I thought the movie was really good; funny, exciting, clever. And for an independent movie it was really, i dunno, "big".

Yes, the filmmaker is a total asshole, but that doesn't change the fact that the movie is more than decent.

I actually emailed the director after seeing Boondock Saints and asked if he had any advice for a student about to enter film school (me).

He replied:

Subject : Re: Some Advice?

At your age just get a video camera and start having fun. I never went to film school so I don't know the classes. Spoke to a few film classes though. Looks like fun ciriculum. T.Duff

"spoke to a few film classes though" makes him seem like a cocky jackass.

I liked the movie, the cat scene has to be one of the funniest moments in any film.

I liked it too, I think most people that don't like it
A. Saw the edited version (not horrible, just worse)
B. Didn't get the jokes/expected a 'Mystic River' type of move
C. Are to old for it ;)
D. All of the above

A. What? Most people I know that saw it saw the normal dvd
B. Mystic River was out after alot of people saw/hated this movie...the humor isn't subtle or hard to get either
C. I don't see how you can be too old for it

I own this movie, and I am rather sick of it myself.
I rofl'd at the
It took me weeks to get the image of that dumb bastard freaking out and saying "THERE WAS A FIREFIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT" out of my mind.
part of the rant.

The creators of the Matrix were complete assholes. Look to their sequels.
The creator of Boondocks is an asshole. I wouldn't be surprised if ASD ever even comes out, let alone it is watchable. I don't even see much point to making a sequel to Boondocks. What the hell interesting stuff could the second movie be about?
Obviously the sequel is the cash cow for the creator, so he can finally make money off this thing. Too bad he won't.

I like Billy Conolly when he tells jokes liberally spiced with "fucks" everywhere. He's a so-so actor and his best part ever was when he got Ginsu-ed in The Last Samurai...

That is NOT a good thing.

Oh yeah. Boondocks sucks leperous little monkey balls. I felt so "Pulp Fiction-cashin-ed" after that wad of drivel that I gave my video rental guy two earfuls for ever recommending that crapola to me.

Stick to looking at underage boobs and stay out of the movie reviewing circuit.
You wouldn't know a good fucking movie if it bit you in the ass.

yeah, I realize that but come on ... she couldn't have said something similar that didn't involve the words "let go"?
