what the fuck? That movie was far from horrible. Name a movie that you see two hobos fighting for five minutes over a pair of sunglassesdubrx2k3 wrote: It could also be from the classic, but horrible Rowdy Roddy Piper movie They Live. That movie may have sucked, but at least Matt and Trey found a good use for it.
Batman Begins
Personally, I like it. The hard line and image of the new Batmobile I think fits my idea of what this film will be about. I get the feeling that we'll see a real rough Bruce Wayne, and Batman will be killing a whole lot of bad guys this time around...
Does that look like the kinda car for a "Oh hey buddy, are those cuffs on too tight?" kind of Batman?
:wicked: Then again, it does look like its meant to take a battering... maybe Batman going to be sucking up a whole load of punishment this time around instead of giving any...
Hehe... "giving any"...
(One more thing: Normally, at the end of filming, actors get to keep a few things afterwards. Imagine if someone got away with the Batmobile? :omfg: )

I could be wrong, but isn't Batman Begins based on Miller's Year One storyline? I know it's not a direct adaptation, but I heard there's elements from the comic in the flick.-L7- wrote: This movie looks to suck. Batman Begins? Capitalistic pigs just want another series. It should be how Batman ends. I want to see The Dark Knight Returns staring Bruce Campbell. They could get Frank Miller to write the screenplay...wait he wrote Robocop 2 and 3 so get someone else to write the screenplay. That movie would be a wet dream.
Either way I'm looking forward to this movie. Bats has always been my favorite superhero (although I guess he's not techically "super", but I'm sure you catch my drift), and it looks like they're putting the Dark back in Gotham's Knight.

It is the Batmobile. At Comic-Con a few weeks back, they supposedly said during the Batman Begins panel that there is a "reason" why the Batmobile looks this way.AcydPhreak wrote: Did anyone think that maybe its not the batmobile. Its from the movie we know that cause the police cars, but maybe its a villans car. Its just seems weird thats nothing like any of the other batmobiles EVER

The reason for it looking that way, is because of Bruce's connection to a man who develops military equipment. The idea is that this batmobile was developed by this man, and he gives bruce all teh gadgets etc.
I forgot to add that, at first I was worried about the look of it, but not anymore, after seeing it in motion.

Does anyone know who the bad guy is in this one?
Scratch that here is the info:
A 25-year-old Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) returns to Gotham City to find that his family's business, Wayne Enterprises, has been taken over by shareholders, and the company's chief inventor, Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman), has been fired. Wayne enlists Fox to help him create an alter ego when a villain named Scarecrow (Cillian Murphy) unleashes a plot to poison the city.
He doesnt look 25 if you ask me.
