thats old news, its been on video cameras for the longest time, they were all recalled back in 1998 for the same reason. I remember because i was watching something on Discovery Channel about it. (spent 4 months trying to find a camera that could do that).
Needless to say, no luck. But now that you mention it again, i think i will take my search to ebay.

Well I have a camcorder and a digital camera that both have night shot. They both can have additional lenses also.

All of the sony night shot cameras can still do the clothes thing. The way they defeted it was to not allow the night shot feature to be used in the daytime. You can fool the camera with an infrared filter. Then it thinks it is night out.
It really isn't worth doing, BTW.

you need a night vision capable sony digital camcorder with an ir pass filter. you used to be able to buy them for like pennies off ebay. i got one, and i works. beautifully. but then i started to feel creepy so i stopped.
