This is why I don't listen to that kind of music anymore. So she screwed up, big whup. Who doesn't, were only human. We all knew she was pretty fake from the beginning and yet so much attention is produced on this incident that were only perpetually creating more publicity for her.

<span style='color:blue'>Umm...maybe because she'd already performed the song (her one and only hit) earlier in the show. That made things PAINFULLY obvious as to what was really going on up on that stage. Stupid no-talent beeotch...

Just another example of what happens when people with no talent are actually put to the test. There had to be a better way out of that situation than doing a jig on national t.v.. I remember when Saturday Night live was the best place to see a band live on T.V......I have a copy of Skid Row singing "Monkey Business" live on there that is one of my favorites. I guarantee THEY weren't lip-synching

Both her and Jessica are talentless. Jessica at least is beautiful, but she butchers everything she sings. Ashley looked beyond stupid with whatever she was doing as a dance. Let's pray this is the end of her "career".

she's a little girl... it doesn't surprise me that she wigged out. i don't think she knows how to spell the word professionalism, let alone what it means or how to act that way.
i'd still rather listen to her pseudo pop-emo stuff over her sister's badly done ballads.

Good thing she is lip synching, her real voice sounds like she smokes about a carton a day.

<!--QuoteBegin-YAHOO!+--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(YAHOO!)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->She was holding her microphone at her waist at the time. Simpson looked momentarily confused as the band plowed ahead with the song and the vocal was quickly silenced.
Simpson made some exaggerated hopping dance moves, then walked off the stage 35 seconds into the performance. NBC quickly cut to a commercial.
