My wife couldn't even watch Dawn of the dead. I loved that movie it was awesome.

Eh I saw Ringu and I thought it sucked balls. The Rings scared my shit. Hardcore.
I rented Audition...but didn't have time to watch it.

you'll be squinting your eyes trying not to look by the end of the flick.

hopefully you didn't read the dvd cover or look at the pictures though. it's spoilerific.

anyhow, it's a slow movie. but it builds up and pays off if you give it a chance. and boy, does it ever pay off.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese version in a Titanic, girl cuddled up next to me, sort of way.

Coincidently, that's the same girl that got freaked out during LotR movies.

THE GRUDGE was horrible. I hated every second of it. I really dug THE RING ... Naomi Watts is great. There was an interesting story, background to it all. But, THE GRUDGE was just stupid. If you're a ghost going to kill people, GO KILL THEM! Why all the messing around? Just because it's a movie, that's why. Too stupid. Hated it.

AUDITION ... I guess that's another one I have to find now.

Anyway, I can empathize with your dislike of idiots in the theater ... kids ruined my experience seeing SHARK TALE ... though that movie was horrible anyway. I have to figure out how I'm going to see THE INCREDIBLES without the annoying kids screaming and all. I had to move seats twice during SHARK TALE. INCREDIBLES and FINDING NEVERLAND next Fri. Hell yeah.
