I suppose you could say it is what made me an anime fan in the first place...</span>
That was my first (and pretty much only anime series) I watched, also as a kid...just much older.
I was confused for a while because of the three different Macross eras. My local tv station liked to show Day 1- Macross Saga, Day 2 - Southern Cross, Day 3 - (dont remember the third), and then restart the cycle on day 4 with another Macross.

And yes, that's a gay way to show them... </span>

Uh, no. I don't think so. Granted, Spirited Away was good, but I would count Princess Mononoke better than that movie. Yeah, I thought that movie was 'ok', too. There are so many really good anime out there, but others that just fall a little flat or lose steam and take away from their potential greatness.
So, I suppose I'll just say 'Hello Kitty and Friends'.

I might have really enjoyed them and became a anime fan if not for that. As it was the Invid and the Southern Cross episodes just pissed me off because I wanted to watch them chronologically and I only wanted to see Macross (the start). So I felt more stupid than anything trying to piece together things.
