When I used to work fast food, I'd see these obese people walk up to the counter, order a Triple Meat burger with cheese and bacon, no vegies, Super Sized Fries and a Large Diet Coke/Dr. Pepper. I'd just look at them with the utmost amazement.

Oh man, that explains so much about one of my roomates. He drinks 6 diet cokes a day and hasn't dated a woman since '93. Time to have a little talk with him...

By "talk with him" we all know that you mean "propose sexual intercourse with him"...just admit it...

I miss Pepsi Clear.

I second that. IMHO that was the only thing pepsi managed to do right.

Was anybody else exposed to the travesty that was pepsi blue?

pepsi blue= carbonated smurf vomit

Crystal Pepsi (same thing as Pepsi Clear?) had Van Hagar's "Right Now" in the commercial.

Most of the soft drinks in the U.S. use corn syrup as a sweetener because of heavy corn subsidies that incentivize it. For the same reason, the mash for Budweiser and other mass-produced American beers contain corn.

Facts.

Not suprising, considering I live in the heartland of corn production (minot, nd). They even use corn in gas: Ethanol.

They have billboards extolling the virtues of corn.

Fuck corn, give me real sugar.
