Re: Jesus gave me AIDS
Are you trying to be the last nail in the coffin of these boards? Sorry, been away for a while, kids.

Re: Burn Notice
This season is turning out to be at least as good as the first two, if not better. It feels tighter, with better subplots surrounding Carla (who wasn't even mentioned in the last episode, which is a good thing once in a while, too). I really enjoyed the car-thief episode, including the subtitle chan...

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Glad you like it. Isn't it fantastic?
Sorry I didn't manage to get you a sample (low-quality, partial song, of course). I finally remembered to get the CD out of the car this morning, believe it or not.

I absolutely could never do that. It would be illegal.
Oh, btw, pm me your e-mail address again?

The Nightmare Revisited... A new CD of music from "The Nightmare Before Christmas", covered by various different artists. Korn's rendition of "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" is amazing. Like they were meant to do it.

Re: Burn Notice
Guess I'll not be commenting on that premiere episode, since I don't recall what bugged me. Suffice it to say that the season only got better (which is more than I can say for Terminator or Heroes).
Burn Notice is back on January 22nd, in case you folks hadn't heard.

Re: Salvia
I've been considering trying it. One guy I know certainly gets a rush out of it... He's usually a curmudgeon, but he's much more pleasant to be around for quite a while afterward. I figure it's not illegal, and it only lasts a short time as a high, so it's probably not a bad thing to try, as long as...

No, we still blame you, Eamon.
Re: Star Trek
I stand corrected: I’m shocked that I seem to be the first one here to point out the fact that the nacelle length to mass ratio (NLMR for all you newbs) of this thing is so far out of Cochranean spec that it will never maintain a warp field beyond 6.3 for longer than 30 seconds unless every ounce (...

Re: Star Trek
Same said trekkies aren't thinking that the graphics from the 70's wouldn't sell a bloody movie ticket except to them in this day and age. It's got a perfectly circular saucer section with two nacells on rather spindly struts. I don't think it's that far from authentic, factoring in better CGI. The ...
