Re: Next-gen iPhone found in bar
What is it with people losing important shit in bars? Didn't someone from the crew of the new harry potter films leave an entire script behind in a bar?
Re: Next-gen iPhone found in bar
Some people just can't handle the sauce very well, I guess.
Re: Next-gen iPhone found in bar
They deserve any negative consequence they get if they went into a bar with such important things, and then get so fuckfaced that they left it behind.
Anyhooter, I like the look of it. Still wont buy one though.

Also; WOZ FOR THE WINUnder California law, it is illegal to sell stolen goods. Moreover, a person who uses the property of others without permission could be legally be guilty of theft.
Gizmodo.com came into possession of the phone after it was apparently lost in a bar — which is why legal action is being considered and not currently in place — and after unsuccessful attempts at returning the phone to Apple. It was later revealed by Gawker Media, parent company of both Gizmodo and Kotaku, that $5,000 was paid for the iPhone. If property is not worth over US$950, the case will be classified as a misdemeanor. But since $5,000 was paid for the phone, it would be considered a felony.

Wouldn't that be the book?gulliver wrote:Didn't someone from the crew of the new harry potter films leave an entire script behind in a bar?

Apparently the script that was found contained numerous changes to the ending of the book.psyper wrote:Wouldn't that be the book?gulliver wrote:Didn't someone from the crew of the new harry potter films leave an entire script behind in a bar?

Re: Next-gen iPhone found in bar
Why do people do this!? - you either take something out with you thats not in the public yet and guard it with your life or you go out and celebrate and ensure its tucked away safely at the office.
Same goes for sex tapes!
But then if none of those happened we wouldn't have half as many websites that exploit them.

Re: Next-gen iPhone found in bar
I haven't heard this info/news ANYWHERE, so this might be a breaking story (as of right now). I think I found out why AT&T has recently done away with the "unlimited data plan" for $30 a month.
Last month they announced the new plans would be $15 for 200mb, and $25 for 2000mb (2gb) for new customers. I'm not a new customer, so my unlimited transfers from my old phone to my new one... but I use about 100-120mb a month... so that lower plan might be a good idea... but I could never go back! Arg
Anyways, I was poking around apple.com tonight and I noticed something new
Fucking tethering.
Apple added this feature to the iPhone 3G about a year ago, but AT&T said NO WAY JOSE, so no app ever came out. It looks like they are allowing it now, and the trade off is, no unlimited data. 2GB a month + tethering for $45 is more than what I pay now, but what if I switched, and I ended up using MORE than 2GB a month since I now have a smartphone + laptop modem? Plus, netflix is coming to the iPhone this summer. DONT KNOW WUT TO DO >_<
