My return to the forums and discussing Django with Gulliver.

I watched "End of Watch" two days ago and I cried like a bitch.

I'm sitting in an 8 hour seminar listening to techno-babble about IT bullshit just to get some CEC's for an IT certification I hold.

End of Watch

First scene that demasulated me in this movie was the missing children call at the crack house. Only a few minuets of this dialogue, where they find a 3 month old and a 3 year old duct taped in the closet. This is where I welled up. One of the reacurring themes of this thread for me will be children.

Fast forward to the end of the film. You know if you have seen the movie, if not I will not spoil it. There was no holding it back and no blaming it on something in my eye.

Shutter Island

I really enjoyed this movie overall as I did most I will list. This one started to affect me around the time he was having his concentration camp flashbacks. Specifically the dead little girl.

I had a complete loss of all function during the scene with his wife and her mental breakdown. "The kids have no school, its saturday", "the kids are in my school". Aaaaaaaaaaand I am now completely blubbering, not even a prolapse film can save me now. I was almost unable to watch him pull the kids from the lake.

Man up, nancy!
