Failures and Regrets

Post by Seriously » 15 Jul 2007 12:17

This goes in my forum because it is the depressing thread!

So, I have like 3 failed destinies:

1) Pastor

2) Composer

3) Architect

Right now I'm trying out for Scientist (maybe in scare quotes?), but if that falls through I'll have to make a play for Businessman

So, as you can see, I've been on a downward trend.

What would you guys Ctrl-Z?

OR

What would you NOT mulligan that is counter-intuitive?

Seriously the Pastor?

I don't even know how to picture that in my mind's eye.

Trust me.

Incredible Holy Roller back in the day.

I witnessed to the dying in hospitals, distributed tracts, led prospectives down the Roman Road.

But I choked on my baptism, and out of all things that was the sign of things to come.

I can only picture it as him starting his own cult and having a massive amount of disciples.

And I shudder..

I see everyone's stuck on the veracity of the opening post.

Well, move on, because I won't ever prove it to you.

Forgive me Serioulsy for I have sinned, It had been 19 o' splash since my last confession.

I regret not taking up some sort of sport, dropping out of college and not taking up an ex-girlfriend on the offer of a threesome because I felt it would have a detrimental effect on our relationship.

I regret rushing through university thinking the real world was going to be so much more fun.

I regret every McDonald's meal I've ever eaten.

I regret not keeping in touch with many people. Especially Svetlana, who cried while watching me leave Leningrad by train, even though I had only known her for two days.

It's not a regret, because I couldn't have known, but I should have majored in chemistry instead of psychology. Would have made life alot easier now.

I probably shouldn't have wasted 3 years with that bitch from New Jersey, either, but she was a horny little brat.

mine's are pretty much emo regrets, so here you go:
- i regret breaking up with my ex, that only pushed her into someone else's arms
- i regret quitting my former job (even though i'm going back there)
