Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

How about monthly top fives?
For November;

1. Survivor - same reason as before
2. Conan - holy shit best talk show ever
3. Human Target - I missed this program, and I'm so glad it's back. Makes me feel like I'm 13yo again
4. Fringe - same reason as before
5. Modern Family - this is probably the funniest sitcom on the air right now. Community is still A+ but ModFam gets my November vote.

My updated list - for SEason Finales

1. Walking Dead
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. No other show not on right now has me wishing as much. Not Boardwalk Empire, Not Dexter.

2. Fringe
No other show has me as eager to watch it each week.

3. Shameless
I'm sure its just the T&A but I look forward to this every week.

4. Ricky Gervais
I'm completely obsessed with Karl Pilkington. I can't get enough of this moron.

5. Spartacus
More T&A. But also a well assembled over-the-top show.
