It's not at ALL what I wanted but it turned out to be!

I wanted a 9mm. It's .40. The Equinox only comes in .40 and .45.
I wanted two-tone only, black synthetic stock. However the P229 grip was slightly shorter than the P226 and I liked the P226 more. So the salesman was like 'try this'. I did and the grip fit PERFECTLY in my hand. Like a glove.
Finally, I didn't think I cared about the fiber optic sight, but I certainly didn't mind having it on there!

The grip, which felt perfect, was 92$ after market to add it to the gun. This gun (with night sight and grip) was 929$. The standard P229 with regular grip and regular sights was 809$. So I was like 'sold!'

By the way that makes you hotter that you know your way around a gun. Proving it by accurately guessing at the sight! You so smart and sexy.
