I'll tell you what, I read the novel and I sure as flying fuck dont know what Anton Chigurh's name is.
I don't even know what he looks like.
If you know what's good for you you don't either.
It comes out in November and don't you dare expect a happy ending.

This does not appear to be showing in Athens.
This irritates me.

^^^
That was one of the things that always irritated me about Athens also.
For such a hip college burg, you'd think they could get the cool limited release movies, but nooooo. I had to drive to the ATL to catch them at the Tara or some other theater that showed indies.

Eh, it'll probably be on at the new indie theatre place downtown in a couple of weeks.

Well the ending will seem a bit sudden, and the Coen brothers are even less into resolution than Mr. McCarthy.
I'm not sure whether or not to recommend reading the book first or not. While it will better insure you absolutely won't miss some important things (some people I know basically had a lot of trouble believing a thing happened) I wonder what it would have been like to see it cold.
Acting is good, though I'm not an expert. I liked Tommy Lee Jones and I usually don't. Javier Bardem will nervous scare the living dayshits out of you.
All in all in my inexpert opinion I give it 4.5 Chigurh smiles out of 5.
No really, if I had access to all the images of the smiles he makes I would have a new avatar and signature right now.
