OK, so I decided I'd check out Primeval on BBC America, given the end of the summer's distinct lack of worthwhile programming. It did start slow, and the effects aren't quite up to Hollywood snuff, but I'm enjoying it. A lot.

Hannah Spearitt prancing around in just underwear doesn't hurt.

At the same time, greasy nerds that are so true to life that you want to stick their heads in the toilet and flush don't hurt, either. At least there's some characterization.

She's apparently a mostly British phenomenon. I didn't really know much about her 'til I started watching, either.
