Jorge Garcia has joined another J.J. Abrams drama about an island. Garcia is set to play a lead on the Fox pilot Alcatraz, which is executive produced by Lost co-creator/executive producer Abrams.

The project, described to be "about secrets and the most infamous prison of all time," centers on a group of missing Alcatraz prisoners and guards who reappear in the present day. It chronicles the efforts of a team of FBI agents to track them down and unravel the mystery behind their disappearance thirty years prior. Garcia will play the hippy geek Dr. Diego Soto, the world's foremost expert on Alcatraz.

It sucks about Dark Blue - I watched the first 3 episodes the other day and thought it had promise - gonna have to delete it now or is it worth watching as a stand-alone 20-episode 'mini'-series?

Watched first episodes of Community & The Good Guys - both bored me to tears so might not get the rest of those.

Also watched, during my new series' marathon, Rookie Blue - looks promising - is it safe to carry on watching that or give up on any series altogether?

The Event has got me really hooked - I hope it moves beyond a 1 season wonder that flashforward was - yeah I went there!

Is Fringe in trouble or is it one of those shows that has so much of a loyal following that enough people would watch it no matter when they aired it so moving it to friday just meant they could use prime-time to bring out new stuff to try out?

The Waking Dead - awesome (I rarely use that word so its more dramatic when I do) the pre-air pulled me right in wanting more straightaway - been getting hold of the next episodes to watch when I get a chance. Anyone know if theres any major differences between the preair and the pilot?

NBC has scaled back its full-season order on the U.S. Marshal drama Chase from 22 to 18 episodes, EW has confirmed. An insider stressed that the reduction does not mean the drama has been canceled, though the series isn’t exactly raking in the big audiences: The freshman show has only posted a 1.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.5 million viewers. (Each 18-49 point represents 1.3 million people). It is still considered a full-season order for Chase, which will move to Wednesdays beginning Jan. 12.

I stopped watching in the middle of episode 1, so this doesn't surprise me in the least.

Are you serious? She is hands down the most annoying twit/twat on there. I'd almost rather it be Chris Hartwick and Kevin...
