I partially agree.

One huge reason why I avoid these forums these days is how annoying Eamon is. This isn't a personal attack, but I'm sure he will take it as one.

He has every right to be who he is... and I doubt he will ever change... but that doesn't change the fact that he argues with everyone, and it's not fun to talk about things here. When it isn't fun to have a discussion, people just avoid the entire thing.

There have been several times when I've had an opinion to add to a thread, but then I come across a EA post, and I just get pissed and give up.

Again, he won't change, and he won't leave. So I left. Problem solved.
Actually that's a textbook personal attack. You said you found me annoying and just because you punctuated it with a disclaimer does not excuse the insult.

For every post of mine you found so objectionable you gave up there were 2 of yours that made me roll my eyes and lower my head.

Not a personal attack. I just find you typically pseudo elitist, pedantic, and boring. You're also a pencil dick and I for one didn't even notice when you weren't around. Kind of like a sliver. Sure it's annoying while you have it but once it's out you never think of it again.

And that's what everyone is talking about.

His comment wasn't a personal attack, although you took it as one.

However, even if it was a personal attack, it is still a statement relevant to the conversation.

Whether or not Dex's dick is a pencil is completely irrelevant.

Although, if that is true, it must come in pretty handy for Dex. I can't even count the number of times I need a writing tool for something, and can't find one. Like if you need to take a phone message, and you can't find a pen, or something like that.

But one question still remains: Does it hurt to sharpen it?

In a weird way, this place has, in my humble opinion, congealed into home for the more 'intelligent' relatives of the fubar family.

Eamon can be frustrating... but that's cuz he can argue well.
Seriously... sometimes I am in awe of what he said, but lots of times I'm left going 'huh, I'm too dumb to understand it, I guess.'
Angelbaby I woudl classify as a 'jack of all trades' for her ability to talk knowledgeably on any topic... except that does a disservice to her as she knows more about any given topic than me anytime we discuss something.
Exelis seems to be very levelheaded and always has a worthwhile opinion when he chimes in.

I like it. Honestly. Even Eamon. Again the fubarbs I know and love who don't venture here, I talk with outside of here...

I just would like more new faces. And a few of the more respected ones to frequent here more. Steampunk, for example, always a knowledgable guy, if not a Cliff Claven-like delivery of his knowledge. VHW my favorite dirty mexican. Umgawa belongs here, he just can't realize it for some reason.

But to Eamon's point, that doesn't equal more females. Angelbaby's enough...but I don't want to share her with all you asshats...go find your own asian vixens!

I think Rushie scared Sarah222 away, in part.

I'm fucking Old...and it was 2 am.... and the senility is tons worse when I am tired.

I'm actually more confused as to why I didn't see Deadly Superman's comment...oh cuz he wrote it while I was writing mine...ok.

On Deadly Superman's comment about Eamon... yes it is precisely what people are referring to about Eamon. He did it when I first brought his name up too. And I was sort of justifying him and he still got defensive. :S

Im surprised at how much attention pencil's are getting in this thread.

On a completely unrelated note, here's what to wear when your s/o ask's you to do something..

Doesn't make any sense.

My IQ is something around 110, +/- 3 points. Barely above average. So since I'm mentally incapable of going up I have to go side to side a whole lot more than other people. Plus since I'm stuck in the mud and sand all the time I know how mud and sand make pretty buildings.

Plus I may or may not have a drawl.

If he had said he doesn't visit or post because he himself finds me annoying...then that would have been a statement of opinion and not a personal attack per se (though it's still being a faggoty little instigator). Instead he said "because of how annoying Eamon is" which is a purported statement of what he perceives to be fact, and of course it is not one. You can't blame me for being defensive when someone is offensive. Did I mention Dex anywhere? Nope. Because I didn't think to. The sliver wasn't there. In fact I've never out right jumped on Dex. He's never necessitated it. I've reacted to him trying to play with the big kids but that's it. Maybe he has masochistic tendencies and likes when I insult him? That's the only reason I can think of that he'd ever try to combat me in any way.

I can't think of a single funny thing he has ever said on here or worth while contribution made. Maybe it's all in the cartoon sub-forum. I don't know and don't care.

I didn't get defensive with you Smash. I'm not sure how to powder and fluff the delivery any more than I did. I just said if you guys want more posts then post more. I do. Well not lately but I've had massive deadlines in front of me and knawing pressure to move to America full time. And I got a dog.

EDIT*

Oh ya...sometimes I read in here and think Seriously might be stupid. Then I read something from him and reread it 5 times because he's a freakin genius. Seriously Seriously, you're one intelligent motherfucker.

I thought I was the only one who thought that, I think I may have even had to google a few words he's used in the past (and my mum was an English teacher).

Both posts fail to address the drawl issue.

Which has suddenly become very pressing, as I'm now expected to speak at a thing.

I totally asked two weeks and then a week ago whether or not this was the case, and both times was given a very unambigous "no". But I just now get a message: "I know you're going to kill me but at T-minus 3 hours until showtime can you just make up a short 5 minute thing? Call me if you just hate it thanks..."

I am dismayed. My day was supposed to be devoted to different things.

I abide by my stated plans, why can't anyone else.

Speaking engagement + drawl = no problem providing the audience either is accustomed to drawls or finds your charming.

I cannot solve your problem.

My advice would be to bomb. Be vulgar and nonsensical. Blame not having enough time to prepare and maybe drugs and/or alcohol. Make some racist and sexist and homophobic statements. Take a stand against all this pro-environmental crap. Relay a colourful anecdote about a time you had to perform fellatio in order to circumvent a gambling debt.

You might not get asked to speak again but if you do I guarantee they'll give more notice.

include the words 'nappy' 'headed' and 'ho' somewhere in your speech. Guaranteed to get big laughs.

And, in case it isn't obvious, do NOT bother to tailor to your audience...even if it is a room full of nappy headed hoes.

Thanks. For what it's worth, I hold your opinions in high esteem, even when I don't necessarily agree with them. I especially appreciate your rather eclectic view of beauty. I don't often find others that come close to my wide-ranging opinion on it.

You know, I thought I might have scared her away (due to personal e-mails, not posts here), but I've come to the conclusion that she just got involved with her RL boyfriend and no longer needed this virtual outlet. I hope her ass is scarlet and she has a smile on her face whenever she sleeps, wherever she is.

My view on beauty's not so ecclectic. You just have to know which things appeal to me and which don't.

Boobs don't. Asses do.
Faces that have distinguished noses and chins do, a 'cheeky' face or lack of a chin don't.

Ethnics (thanks Rushie and Angelbaby, damn you) with dark hair do, whities with blonde hair don't.

Here, here. With boobs I'm definitely indifferent, but with arses, I can be slightly picky. Not that it's a dealbreaker or anything, if the girl is really nice, she's really nice and that goes the longest way, but a curvy peach of a butt is definitely the first thing that I notice on someone.

Conveniently it just so happens that ethnics more often than not, have the nicest asses... :halo:

I've a thing for noses too, actually.

I don't mind classical beauty at all, but I more swing for girls who are cute rather than hot, and a hooked nose has a special appeal to me.

Still a breast man though.
