Upcoming Presidental Race

With Barrack Obama, Hilary, and Ellison all in the potentials in the next presidental election here's the question: if you had to pick from this pool of minorities, who would you choose first and why.

Assume everything else is equal (qualities, capabilities, track record, etc.)

Let's see...the outed gay men would probably redecorate the white house so points for him. More points for making meetings with foreign leaders a little awkward. Points lost for being flaky though. Let's face it...fags can be annoying.

The black guy would be fun. I can picture Air Force One with some 30 inch Momos. Negative points for the time he wastes giving 'shout outs' after each speech.

The woman....depends if she's hot. I'd vote for a hot woman. A nasty old butch woman I'd never vote for. Next thing you know the age of consent would be 35.

The Muslim would depend on how devout he is. If he's hardcore whiny crybaby then fuck that. If he's just a guy that's Muslim he'd probably be first pick.

Assuming I could vote in the US of A.

After immediately eliminating the muslim and the woman, I'm left with somewhat of a toss-up between the black dude and the gay guy.

I think I'd vote for the black man, if only because he represents a larger minority population. Yeah, I know...kind of a cop-out, but there it is.

Seriously, I have to give thought to who looks better on tv, because despite not liking it, it IS a factor.

The woman, probably too short. To be a president you have to be 6 foot.

I don't think we can elect a muslim with the current state of global politics. CNN Glen Beck felt the need to have to ask Ellison "are you a terrorist?" Which, if you think about it, is FAR MORE offensive than anything I can imagine.

That leaves the black and the gay dude.

And it really comes down to media. I think the black dude stands a better shot of winning over middle america than a gay dude. But it could go either way; how bad would the media play up the gay or the black thing? Whichever got played up worse would turn off all of the redneck/red states.

Well, if I had to pick a gay man then Hilary is a shoo-in.

Practically though, electing a black man as prez might be a good way to dilute the whole media portrayal of White/American/Christian vs Dark/Muslim/Other dichotomy. Maybe a black prez would make better headway to mending the fences of the Bush "Fuck 'Em All" World Tour.

All other things equal, it would be a toss up between the woman and the black man, probably. I would have no problem voting for either of the other two, though, if I personally felt they were presidential material.
