I don't mind the tagline either. 'Not all jokes are funny'.

They should have the Joker on the poster too. Nobody is excited to see Batman here.
A Batman movie without Batman isn't Batman.

Sounds redundant, but you know what I mean. I'm all for villains, but the main character/hero has to rock hard too. Otherwise, its nothing.

It was me. I rang him and said Jack Nicholson was pissed and was having revenge by brokebacking Gyllenhaal.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

I have already seen this twice.

I am selling jaws for 5 dollars each.

Trust me. You will need some when yours drop off on opening day.

It is magnificently epic. So much so Nolan could walk away now and no one could fault him because a film better than this one is virtually impossible.

You will understand what I mean once you see it. And the Joker's magic trick is one thing you will remember forever..

I'm a man of my word-ah.

Hahahahahahahahhahaha.

I saw it today- it was awesome!
For all who have seen it, whats your favorite Joker moment? Mine is definitely the pencil trick. The speech to Harvey Dent was pretty badass too.

This movie is the best movie of 2008. The race is officially over. Yep.

Oh, and my favorite Joker moment was the interrogation room scene with The Batman.

I'm going to see TDK in 1 hour. Until then, I can't read any posts in this thread. :box:

2:45am edit:
OK, as expected, that was awesome. I really want to see it again for 2 reasons. #1 being the fact that it was probably the best superhero movie I've ever seen (well, maybe a tie with Iron Man), and #2 being that I had to step out for 2 minutes for a potty break in the last half hour (when I got back they had the 2 boats in the harbor with people on).

And as a semi-#3 reason I want to see it again... the Joker freaked me out. But at least 2 guys in the audience were laughing at 50% of his lines. I mean, I'm sitting there going  and they are all

Must see it again with empty bladder and less college jocks.

It was great, but I prefer Tim Burton's version.

Maybe it's nostalgia.

Speaking of which;
I loved the Joker falling off the building, laughing all the way, only to be saved by Batman in the nick of time. Not only pissing the Joker off, but I also took it as a nice homage to the first Tim Burton Batman flick, when Jack fell to his death - again, laughing all the way down.

DOUBLE POST

I just finished downloading a SWEET 4GB DVD screener of TDK. Gonna watch it right now while I eat eggrolls and drink some Bacardi & coke. Yay!

Edit: updated with screencaps

Not the clearest screener I've ever seen, but I give it a 7/10 considering it's been out for exactly one week :pirate:
It'll have to do until it comes out on blu-ray.
