This is the best thing to happen in the states for almost a decade. Let’s think back on what Bush and the Republicans delivered over the last eight years: they took a country on the back of massive economic growth, stability and international popularity under Clinton, and delivered two wars that have no end and cost the lives of thousands of Americans to deliver only more danger, a financial collapse not seen since the great depression, international isolation and the death of hope.
Obama is the only hope the country had. I just hope he can deliver, and the hole isn’t already too deep.

#10 – i see the revisionist history has already begun… bush and the repubs built on the good economy left by the clinton administration even in the aftermath of 9/11 and it reached record highs. when did things start to go south? hmm, let’s see…seems like it was not long after we gave control of Congress back to the dems. but i’m sure that’s all just coincidence.
two wars delivered only more danger? that’s funny, all i know is that nothing got blown up in my country over the past seven years. i was pretty happy with that. but hey, i’m sure al qaeda is shaking in their suicide vests about the scary obama administration coming to get them.
#10 You think you can blame everything going wrong in this country on the last eight years? If so you are one-hundred percent retarded. We have been digging your so called hole for many many years đ

I love the idea the economy seems to have no momentum and happens in a vacuum of elections.
Maybe things continued going well because they were going well, and bad decisions took time to really show their effects.
Blaming it all on Congress as though the very little they’ve done could totally ruin something that was on good or great standing the day before they were elected is just as silly as blaming it all on Bush
And if we want to play the “See, the Democrats took over Congress and the Economy tanked”
Let’s review, how many successful terrorist attacks did Al Quaeda do in the Clinton administration?
Does that mean 9/11 was all Bushs fault? I mean, it was only after he got elected that AQ managed to bring down anything.
See, pretending things happen in a vacuum can work both ways.
(Personally, I’m pretty middle of the road and think both parties are full of morons, and pretty much equally to blame for all bad things.)

#12- AB, spot on, as always
#15- No, things don’t happen in a vacuum. But in actuality, our recent economic problems all stem from the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgage problems, which was caused by…wait for it…the DEMOCRATS forcing banks to grant mortgages to people who couldn’t afford it. Of course, since we’re at the tail end of Bush’s 2nd term, of COURSE Bush and the Republicans are to blame for our situation…oh yes, of course. Must be. Sorry, that’s just part of the brainwashing Obama and his cronies used to pass the buck and blame the Republicans. Sorry you believe that.
In the meantime, now I will just have to brace myself while some asshole now decides the best way to “spread around my wealth.” Fucking bullshit. Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot that I’m supposed to feel selfish for wanting to keep the money I’ve worked hard to earn, rather than just give it all up to worthless lazy sacks of shit who got Obama elected because he’s promised to pay all of their bills (at my expense, of course). Fuck Obama. I’ll go ahead and start cursing him now. Fuck him. Fucking douchebag wouldn’t have had a prayer of getting elected if there weren’t so many stupid greedy selfish lazy shitbags in this country.

AngelBaby… Monsieur lassez faire Greenspan himself testified in front of Congress and couldn’t identify what specifically went wrong. He couldn’t attribute it to the “coincidence” you speak of either.
One thing is for sure, both Obama and McCain blamed “deregulation.” Deregulation of the banks and credit markets. Ironically for McCain, he’s bragged about his deregulation stance throughout his tenure in the Senate.
And to be “pretty happy” that your country hasn’t blown up and not want more?
Angelbaby, I adore your picture posts, but can’t stand your Republican talking points. I hate the two-party system, but it’s what we have.
And to #17… Socialist? Are you a plumber? Why did the one of the most pro-Capitalist magazines in the world, The Economist, endorse Obama?
I, myself am not a democrat. I’m a libertarian which is why I adore the freedom of having web-sites like this. Thanks Justin and Angelbaby. Stay off the politics (neither of your strong points) and bring on the pics.

Here’s the thing though, you want to blame the whole failure on Freddie & Fannie being ‘forced’ to give loans to people who couldn’t afford things (Which isn’t actually what the legislation was for, but I’ll even pretend it was)
Republicans were in charge, basically unchecked, for 6 years.
They didn’t undo this because?
Why?
Even if the Democrats did the bad thing that set the ball rolling, shouldn’t the Republicans be blamed for not catching the ball before it rolled out of the field?
Also, McCain wanted to ‘spread your wealth’ just as much. Just look at his “We’re going to buy up all the bad mortgages” plan.
My family didn’t buy things we couldn’t afford, our tax money would have gone to pay for those who did.
That’s socialism and spreading the wealth.
Unless you’re making over $250,000 a year, your ‘wealth’ isn’t going to be the one ‘spread’ by Obama.
Really, the problem is a tiered tax system, you can’t call one socialist for wanting to tier it slightly differently.
A real non-socialist/non-wealth-spreader would advocate destroying it and going with a flat tax.
Which neither Obama or McCain did.

Wow, that’s *spectacularly* naive! Nothing got blown up in our country seven years before 9/11 either. What the hell does that prove? The fact remains that these wars have made the world a less safe place by radicalizing millions of people who likely never would’ve been radicalized if we hadn’t gone in all guns blazing over a fucking *lie* about WMDs and links to Al Qaeda. Even now, history is already showing that this has been one of if not the worst presidential administration in this country’s history.
The national debt has *doubled* to ten TRILLION dollars since Bush took office, and for what? Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed as a result of an orchestrated succession of lies, and for what? “Democracy”? Give me a fucking break.

pyronuc.. from your grammar I would guess you make less than $250,000, so you’d get to keep more money with Obama as president. Quit complaining!
As for your argument that Democrats made banks lend to poor people… deregulation means that the banks were free to do what they wish more and more during the past 20-30 years. Deregulation was a theme of Reagan.
The problem with lending comes from the fact that some banks made subprime loans to those who could not afford them, simply because there was no regulation against it. These loans were then sold to other banks and to others, etc. Banks sell rights to loans all the time. The paper trail was thin and background checks were minimal. To top it off, the original loans were made with variable interest rates. Once interest rates rose, many subprime borrowers defaulted. That’s what happened. Democrats had no power to make loans.
Pyronuc, open up an economics text book.

What we are witnessing is a series of events as a result of inefficiencies caused by imperfect markets. Markets are correcting themselves, don’t let a democrat or republican tell you otherwise.
As far as war? Yeah that’s part of it. War spending is inflationary, causing rises in interest rates. Rising interest rates… well you know the drill.

My grammar? WTF are you talking about? Oh, I’m sorry, because I’m pissed off and used a bunch of explatives, obviously I make less than $250k. Sorry I offended you by saying “fuck,” or whatever else. Cleary, that’s bad grammar. And seriously, $250k, are you fucking shitting me? The people in the Obama camp have been steadily decreasing that number in each speech. Last I heard it wasn’t going to affect us if we made less than $120k. And not that it’s any of your business, but no, I do not make over $250k per year, but I DO make more than the latest $120k figure they’ve thrown out there. And I would be willing to bet an entire years salary that it won’t even stay THAT high. I just want to ask you, do you really, honestly believe the bullshit he’s spouted about 95% of Americans paying less taxes?
For the record, the only reason I supported McCain in this election was that he was the “lesser of two evils.” He’s a damn sight better than Obama.
25- I want a flat tax. Actually, I believe very strongly in the Fair-Tax plan that Huckabee was for. That’s why I voted for Huckabee and not McCain in the primary. Again…didn’t like McCain, but McCain >> Obama
28- Apparently since I’ve believed that Obama was a socialist from the beginning, that obviously means that I’m “not thinking for myself” and being “spoon fed by politicians.” How about the fact that Obama used to belong to the “New Party?” I guess believing him to be a socialist because of the fact that he used to…RUN FOR OFFICE AS A SOCIALIST…yeah…that’s me being “spoon fed by politicians.”
Whatever…I don’t care to continue this any longer, I don’t know why I got baited in the first place, other than aggravation at the terrible outcome of the election. It’s like arguing with a wall, trying to talk to you guys. Obama’s tax plan to jack up taxes on the greedy small business owners making huge amounts of money is going to destroy small businesses, force catastrophic layoffs, and completely destroy our economy. I think YOU guys (and Obama) need to consider re-learning economics. But whatever. Feel free to spout more of the gospel of Obama the Messiah. You’re too damn brainwashed yourself to see any reason anyway.

ps. to all those parroting that “raise taxes on those making $250,000 and up” campaign talking point…now that obama is in the white house with a dem controlled congress, don’t think for one second that figure can’t be adjusted downward. and strangely enough that’s exactly what was being discussed by biden and some other dem leaders in the final weeks of the campaign as they realized they would need more money to pay for all the policy they want to enact.
33- right, already down to $120k, last I heard in a speech from Biden.

Wow. I guess you Republicans are pretty certain Obama is going to go back on his campaign promises since you re-elected a guy who went back on most of the stuff he said to get elected in 2000. I mean, come on. You’re predicting Obama’s folly two months before he’s even served as president when the guy you voted for has ruined every facet of the United States, from civil rights to economics to foreign policy. What kind of plastic bubble do you live in?
Don’t blame the Democratically controlled for not doing anything about the financial set-off by the housing bubble that popped BEFORE the 2006 mid-term elections to make up for the fact that you voted twice for one of the worst presidents in the history of this country. I’m sorry, I spoke to soon. Time will tell. It well tell whether he was one of the worst or THE worst president in the history of the U.S.
And no foreign policy complaints? We didn’t want to bring up dropping the ball in a once controlable situation in Afghanistan by going out of our way to depose the leader of a Sunni country that had been pretty impotent outside its own borders due to the Shia run country right next door that had become its check-balance after the first Gulf War. Not to mention that support was garnered on what equated to hearsay.
I guess it really was all about the economy this time. Except that doubling deficit was helped by the cost of keeping the war in Iraq going after the vacuum created by the deposed leader was filled by insurgencies fueled by a Shia takeover destined to happen due to the Shia led Iran now having no regional power to keep them in check. So basically we have the same threat to national security, except we’re fighting a war in a country that isn’t actually the threat anymore. And of course this put Israel from a precarious position to a fucked position.
But hey, all our big buildings seem to be standing, so we must have been made safer by the last 7 years. Oh wait, Bush was president the last 8 years.

I’m not going to leave the US, though. strange, but when many repubs said practically that exact same thing in 2000 and 2004, i don’t remember too many dems jumping onboard. plenty of libs turned their backs on millions of their fellow Americans and pouted “not MY president” so don’t try to play this card.
let’s not get hypocritical after the big win finally went the other way.
I can understand why the red half of America is pissed right now. But can someone be the better party and show a little optimism for the next president? Perhaps 2000 and 2004 showed the opposite trend, but does that mean that conservatives should turn their backs in retaliation? I know you think he’s a Muslim, socialist, celebrity, and anti-Christ, but can you not try to put away the conceptions and see perhaps what he does before making judgment. And if in four years things suck, then you can lay it on the democrats and smear it all over and vote Palin in to right the wrongs. But for now, in this shitty economy, can we try to support the president?
Pipe dream I know. I tried though.

Your all full of shit! Nothing in this country has changed in the last 35 years since Nixon fucked us all. Most of you probably werent even alive to see the real changes that occured. This country has been in the crapper since the end of the 60’s when the fuckin dope head hippies of this country decided not to woop the ass of their dope smoking children and suddenly decided to become profesional money grubbing prick controllers of the late 70’s and 80’s. And #35 your the prime fucking reason we as a species are fucking doomed to a fate we have deserved a long time comming. In other countries including our former enemies dont like the way shit has gone down protest and see resulsts we live in a country that has become so trigger happy that we welcome the possibilty to shoot our own brothers and sisters, unlike the “Socialist” whos army decided it was the government who was wrong not the people and stood with them to see the USSR fall. Oh and by the way the rest of the world doesent see anything wrong with a little socialism IE: healthcare for all, but i dont see their economies taking a shit on them. If Obama can turn things around then I say let him try, If it fails then we are just in the same sinkling boat we were already in, but if it works, OMG! I honestly don’t think that the new tax plan can succeed. I mean, it’s a chopping block to the rich. And who are rich and probably love their money? Last I checked, Congress was pretty damn rich.
I’m from Michigan, and over the past decade and a half I’ve watched liberal zealots destroy this state. We’ve got what’s her face in office cutting school funding so we can have a Goddamned state government, but leaving vetoing the removal of “beautification” projects from taxpayer money. Personally, I’d rather have kids with decent educations than a collection of scrap metal I could have put together in my garage in twenty minutes with an arc welder that’s supposedly worth $7500.
I grew up being told that the Union (the UAW) and the left were heroes, that they would save the day no matter what. It was about tenth grade that I actually started looking at the situations in action: the Union got greedy, demanded far more than was necessary, and the leftists raised taxes on the automotive industry. So they pulled the plug. Now, my question is, what are these unemployed people going to do now that they are going to get stipends from the liberal tax plan? That doesn’t encourage growth, it encourages stagnation. The rich will retract like hermit crabs and live on interest while the poor try to suckle off the quickly-drying teat of the government. These people — the ones with money — will find their ways to get out of giving as much of it as possible away, and legally.
The point of that was that if the rich don’t reinvest into the system, there IS no system. The left tells me that the right is killing off the middle class. I’m part of the middle class, and all I can see is the left doing everything they can to make my family seem like it’s upper class so they can tax it into oblivion.
What America needs right now IS hope. What America needs is to band together, to give — willingly — to their fellow Americans. “But Tycho,” I hear you saying, “we voted for a new tax plan!” Yeah: you did. The people with the money, on the other hand, didn’t. And that’s what people need to realize about America: taxes are inevitable, but you can’t make someone do what they don’t want to — and taxes are no exception.
And, yes: I voted McCain. Not because I liked him, not because he was “the lesser evil”, not even because of his views on economics. I voted for him because the only distinguishing admirable quality I could find in anybody in the general election was military service. I won’t even get started on why both VP candidates were retarded choices.

Does it feel better to become executed while
Obama is president? I hope it for his fans here,
most of them are candidates
You all need to take a step back and realize that “Party Politics” only pulls us Americans apart. I do not blame a “party” for bad decisions made by an individual. (And Yes I believe Bush mad MANY mistakes). Fuck the lines in the sand drawn by each side and look at the big picture.
For centuries black children have grown up learning that they will never have a fair shot in life, that the government and the majority of people in our country are against them. America has been the “land of opportunity” (As long as you are a white man) our entire lives. As a result of this minorities in our country have perpetuated the problem of street gangs, drugs, and crime (white people too, but aside from the point) This has been occurring because for a system which is set up to keep a certain “class” of people down these were the only options some saw they had.
Last night AMERICA as a nation elected it’s first black president. now when children are told they can be anything in our country they might believe it and strive for greatness, instead of joining the local gang, or slinging shit on the street corner.
Who would you rather have in office? A rich white guy looking out for only the other rich white guys, or someone hard working who wasn’t born rich, someone who has seen the best AND the worst in life. A leader who shares OUR experiences. Or another Politician from a wealthy political family who is looking out for their own interests and drag the rest of us down with them..
Obama is a regular guy from Chicago. He has worked the hourly wage jobs, he’s had to live pay check to pay check, this is why he will fight for us everyday people in the country and not the wealthiest 2%.
And for your information, when Bush leaves office, if he even makes 1 cent off of Iraq’s oil industry, that will be war profiteering. I have said all along that he made us attack Iraq to set up the people HE wanted to control the oil industry. He is going to be profiting off the lives of the soldiers he sent to die over there. That makes him the worst kind of war criminal. That makes him our very own Saddam!
Years from now most if not all of you whether for or against the result of this election will look upon yesterday as one of the most important moments in American History… The day America truly became EQUAL.

I just want to point out how wrong the dumbass who said Al Qaeda never attacked us under Clinton is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda#Attacks
1993 WTC truck bombing (failed and killed only 6)
1998 Suicide bombings on US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya (considered US soil) (killed 300 people, mostly civilians)
2000 bombing of the USS Cole (killing 17 servicemen)
But we didn’t do anything substantial because the attacks failed to be spectacular, killed foreigners instead, and didn’t kill US civilians…
Yes Al Qaeda is still attacking our troops today, but the difference is we are over there to fight and are on the equal footing of expecting them.

The funny thing about elections are that they are all BullShite.
The only election that really matters is the congressional elections.
Senate and House.
These two are the ones that make and pass laws. The president has nothing to do with the passing of laws.
People get into so many arguments about what their candidate will do.
The answer: Neither candidate does anything.
The people you really need to worry about are the majority leaders in house and senate.
They are the ones that control your future.

I am a proud young conservative and by young I mean under 30, I have severed in the military for 6 years and now i am serve my community as a police officer. I do not want to get into a rant about Obama v McCain or anything in that such I only want to say two things.
1. All the conservatives talking about leaving the country is really dumb…you need to stay and stay strong…mid-term elections are 2 years away…and if you live in a blue state get out there and turn it red like the Obama supporters did this time. I can not count how many young and this time by young i mean under 25…how many young people voted for Obama cause it seemed “cool.” Obama won this election cause he was a cult of personality period. He definitely did not win it cause he was more experienced or had a better plan for this country he won because he grabbed the…for the most part…the blind vote…the one who likes shinning things that talk good (bad grammar intended) and dress real nice. This was Kennedy V. Nixon all over again. And the Repub party could have nominated the real Jesus and he more then likely would have not won this election.
2. Get the Bush idea of a republican out of your head…Bush is not a republican and is definitely not a conservative. I mean do I need to bring up Jimmy Carters sterling record…talk about one of the worst…give me a break. Oh and real quick Clinton did not bring all this stability you libs talk about…the downfall of the housing market started in 1992 with the Fair Housing and Community Act…so lets not open that can of worms. Back to Bush, not a good president but he was a good commander in chief and he did keep this country safe after the one attack…some of his advisers steered him wrong but that is the name of the game when you are the President…just like the head football coach…when the player fumbles the ball when its 4th and goal and the other team recovers you don’t blame the player you blame the coach for making that call.
One last thing all of you Democrats and Liberals who scream for social programs and universal health care, I want you to ask yourself…when was the last time I did something to help these programs…when was the last time I served my community…when was the last time I inspired the change that I want to see in this country. Ask yourself that…Democrats call it a success when a person uses a social program…Conservatives call it a success when a person no longer needs that social program.

I just want to say, as a Canadian, to all those saying “time to move to Canada”, please don’t. I don’t mean to be rude (mainly because as a Canadian being polite is hardwired into my DNA), but we really don’t want you.
If you think that you were better of with Bush, then we don’t want you. If you think things were okay the way they were, we don’t want you. And if you think what is happening in Iraq is justified, then we REALLY don’t want you. But most of all if you think running from your country, rather than uniting for one fucking time and buckling down to face a problem, is the right choice, we really don’t want you.

97- so apparently being “prepared” for al qaeda under Bush is less effective than being “unprepared under clinton, because exponentially more civilians, servicemen, and foreigners have been killed by al qaeda the last 8 years than the 8 before them.
And if the 1993 attack is going on Clinton’s “tab” for happening a month into his presidency, then the 2001 attack is def going on Bush’s since he’d been around for a year. He wasn’t working most of that time, but he was there. I guess Clinton was so good at “tricking” people into thinking that the state of the union was good that Bush believed it to and figured he’d just coast.

All I have to say is if people choose to leave the country the door should only swing one way, if you hinder progress and growth of this country, then YOU are no good to it. and we don’t need you. I’d take a dozen hard working illegal immigrants over one bitching white person (being a white man myself) People need to stop crying that things are different now… “Fucking DUH!!” We have a black man as president. So fucking what, we’ve lived for 8 years under the thumb of a retarded baboon.
It doesn’t matter who is president, if senators, supreme court judges, and the president work together, and they get good bills passed then who’s gonna fucking complain when the money starts rolling back into our wallets.
These same people who are bitching and whining like little fucking children who just found out they have to share their Halloween candy are causing more harm to our country than they are predicting. they are causing a rift between ourselves. We don’t need to fight each other. Who knows who would have been the better president, who knows if either would be good. We ELECTED Obama, if he surprises you and ends up the best president since Carter, are you going to be fucking bitching then?
Racist motherfuckers. That is the real issue, it’s not that he’s republican, it’s not that he’s come from being the underdog, it’s the fact he’s not white. So what the fuck does skin pigment have to do with how a person decides on policy issues, How does skin pigment determine the intelligence of a man. I can tell you there were brown people in Egypt and South America building complex mechanics in massive stone buildings while WHITE people were living in stick huts glued with their own shit.
GROW THE FUCK UP, and put away your hoods. it’s a different world now.. You don’t need them anymore.

No, Clinton doesn’t get “blamed” for the 93 attack, it’s what he failed to do after the 93 attack.
On about 11 occasions (I’m not going to bother looking up the actual number for a retarded FUBAR post) Clinton HAD Osama and failed to ACT. Men on the ground, with Osama in their sights, and Clinton refused to pull the trigger. He refused to answer the phone for a green light. That’s why Clinton is blamed for 9-11.

112- my point was about unexpected attacks on US soil. WTC = US soil, embassy = US soil, US ship = US soil (kinda?). Clinton didn’t change things to get us to expect the next attack. Bush saw 9/11 and changed things so that we could decide that the next attacks would be on our military and that our military would be ready. Obviously Clinton probably would have changed things too had the attacks under him been as bad as 9/11. I guess I don’t really have a point in the end except that I approve of what Bush has done in terms of taking the fight to al qaeda.

Here is another conservative chiming in.
Three cheers for AngelBaby. Amazing how many of us on here feel like you. Even more amazing that we meet on a site which usually is devoted to the finer (and younger) things in life.
My point of view, if we wonder who started all this, lets look at our media. In print and on TV, our media, seemingly in lockstep hoisted a practically unknown, inexperienced Chicago pol on a gilded pedestal. Editors in newsrooms and television stations decide which stories to persue, who to intervierw and how, and what NOT to print or include on the evening news. It is a tragedy that far more able candidates, on both sides, were gutted by negative coverage. The press made mince meat out of Hillary, ignored the far more experienced Richardson, shunted Giulliani and Thompson aside. Unfortunately, our primary process, where little states like Iowa and New Hampshire wield enormous power, lends itself to the slaughter our media perpetrated. Many books will be written on how and why this happened. They should make interesting reading
For now, all we can do is hope our new President will move towards the middle, as Clinton did, give him a fair chance – and in two years a Repulican Congress.
Now, hello, hello, can we get back to what made this site famous?

@ #123 – You think what Bush did was great? Obviously you don’t fly a lot or live near the border. Instead of fixing situations, simple liberties that myself as an american have LOST! not freedom, but each simple ‘terrorist’ act that goes on we loose more and more of our simple freedoms and rights.
Bush did not personally destroy the economy. But, the problem being, he did nothing to stop the destroy of it, watching it dwindle away, concentrating more on ‘his’ war. He’s an oil tycoon, he wanted oil prices to go up, simple as that.
And I don’t expect everyone to understand this… 8 years under the last administration and ‘no child left behind’ have pushed ignorant people onto the streets without a real education.
If your under the age of 26, there is NO way you could remember what it was like before bush, so your opinions are simple in vain. You would have been 18 barely getting out of HS.
People have to realize, the economy is going to fail at this point even if we elected a purple guy with black and orange stripes, it is what they will do to fix it, and NONE of us know how that will play out.

120- Way to throw out a random number and then immediately admit it’s random. So I guess when Clinton shot cruise missiles into Afghanistan based on intelligence of an Osama bin Laden meeting he was just firing warning shots. Oh yeah, that was the same attack that Republicans claimed was meant to distract people from the Lewinsky scandal. The truth is that the Clinton administration was busy PREVENTING terrorist attacks by Osama, like the planned LAX bombings in 1999. Truth be told, it is nearly impossible to stop a terrorist plan like the one executed on 9/11 and it was likely pure chance that it happened under Bush and not under Clinton, but to act like Clinton was somehow not worried about Osama is inane and to make claims that he wouldn’t order bin Laden taken out is idiotic. Yeah, he’d much rather send a bunch of missiles into Afghanistan. How bout you bring some facts to the table next time. And not everything Bill O’Reilly tells you qualifies as a fact.
121- AB, maybe if everyone wasn’t concerned about Clinton getting some action on the side, he would have actually been able to do his job instead of sitting in congressional hearings and having to placate the Republicans for a year while Osama was starting to really flex his muscles.

I still vacation in Germany every couple of years and read German papers and am well aware of how they view us. What I said about our media here, applies even more to the German and all of European media. It would be an understatement to say they are biased. After fighting each other for centuries, the Europeans have finally found someone they can despise, us over here, forgetting that we saved their ass twice in one century. Obama was treated like a rock star in Berlin. Bush is the villain. It is a mixture of prejudice, envy and the subconscious knowledge that without us and our nuclear umbrella, not to mention the Marshall plan, western Europe would not be the prosperous entity that it is today. Lets see how they view Obama and by extension all of us in a few years.

Now, I need to get some sleep so I can go to work in the morning to earn even more money to pay for you fucking freeloaders.

#23 | Comment by pyronuc — November 5, 2008 @ 1:24 am

#12: “two wars delivered only more danger? thatâs funny, all i know is that nothing got blown up in my country over the past seven years.”
#26 | Comment by EmJee — November 5, 2008 @ 1:30 am
pyronuc.. from your grammar I would guess you make less than $250,000, so you’d get to keep more money with Obama as president.

And by no means am I endorsing any type of increased regulation. As a libertarian, I abhor regulation.
That’s all for now. Again, on to the ladies?!??!?
#31 | Comment by marcus — November 5, 2008 @ 1:42 am
27-

(Check my site for a photo of my ballot to see who I voted for.)
I think Singapore may be a more conservative place to go compared with Canada (trust me, I’ve thought about it). I will say, however, that the nicest people I’ve ever met were in Canada. I’m not going to leave the US, though. So shut your twats (regardless of political party, race, gender, religion, intelligence) and let’s try and get this country back on track.
We are privileged to live in a nation where we are able to choose our leaders.

AngelBaby, I have lived here for over 50 years, am a loyal US citizen with one wife and three children and climbed the corporate ladder.

In the spirit of goodwill, I think we all owe it to him to show the exact kind of respect and loyalty that everyone has shown Mr. Bush.

Obama is half white and was raised by white grandparents so to me he is way more white than he is black. Me not liking him has nothing to do with his skin color, I just fucking hate liberals.

#15: Letâs review, how many successful terrorist attacks did Al Quaeda do in the Clinton administration?”
Let’s see; 1993 WTC bombing, partial involvement in the War in Somalia, most notably with Osama’s buddy Mohammed Farah Aidid, lots of them in Algeria and France, the Khobar Towers, the US Embassies in Kenya & Tanzania(which killed more Kenyans and Tanzanians than anybody), and the USS Cole. And I’m sure I’m forgetting many others.
