I've been invited to go to the 21st birthday bash of a girl that I've been talking to on MySpace since December. She's super cool and everything, we get along great. And there's going to be tons of other people there, and it's in a public place, and there will be booze.

I'm seriously wondering if I should just be like "no it'd be too weird" - 'cause it would be - or if I should just be like "ah fuck it" and go.

What do you think?

Absolutely you should go! But make sure you bring your rape whistle in case you get to where the party is and it turns out to be an abandoned warehouse.

I should be able to hear it and make my way over if you're in Oregon and I'm 8 hours north of Minneapolis. I hear the rape whistle industry has been investing heavily in their development sector.

If you guys are getting along there should be plenty of other opportunities to hang out. If you only know the host and everyone there is going to be vying for her attention....well gas is expensive enough and if you're not guaranteed to really spend time with her I'd pass.

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons it would be weird. No chance to actually hang out and see how we get along together in person.

Plus, the last thing she needs is to see me drunk the first time we hang out.

I just haven't drank in a very long time... I don't know how much is too much after this long. I of course could tone it down or just not drink at all, but that doesn't really fit a 21st birthday party.

Anyway, the two of us might hang out that day anyway, since she actually wants to get a new piercing for her birthday and she wants to go to the parlor in Eugene that she always goes to.
