Finally!
Saddam's presidential yacht "al-Mansur" ("The Victor"...taste the irony) sunk by coalition bombs in the Shatt-al-Arab waterway near Basra.
Whew! That was a good one...after all the clues.

That would be the Memorial to Murdered Jews of Europe (
Stiftung Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas), also known as the Holocaust Memorial, in Berlin. Google Earth's accuracy is a few blocks off, so it took me a few minutes to verify.
Here's a Wikipedia link, for your own personal edification.
This one's pretty easy; so much so that I deliberately went a little bit overboard on the zoom. I'd expect it'll be solved fairly quickly, though. My only question is, where's David Beckham's house?

See, I could be a jerk and make you specify which one, but I won't. I just find it easier to pick obscenely easy places so I don't have to monitor the boards every time someone needs a new clue. That's what we call stragedy... or pure laziness. One or the other.

Arecibo radio telescope, Puerto Rico. ... And you thought
mine was easy.
All right, I'll take either of two possible answers for this next one, and neither one is Lake Mead:

Damn, it's the dam... The Hoover. No?
Sometimes the first guess isn't the right one, I guess... Just checked, wrong dam.

Dam, I was just being an Aswan.
Hi!
(Er, I mean, Aswan High Dam, on the Nile)

Bingo! The building of the Aswan High Dam caused Lake Nasser to form in its wake on the Nile River. Hence, the Lake Mead reference in the clue.

Yeah, shoulda realized that you wouldn't be that blatant with the clue.
Good puzzle.
Here's my next one... No clues unless people start struggling.

Your call. I won't feel bad if you guess it.
I don't know how well known the subject of the image is, in general. I've been fascinated by it and it's kind since reading of them as a child.
