I don't understand why it would taste like dog. I mean, I'd think it would be a little less greasy feeling on the mouth when not piping hot, and that's about it. Not like crisco has alot of flavor.
Besides, dog is tasty.
(J/K. Never had dog before, that I know of.)
I made a honey mango teriyaki sauce last night, butterflied and pounded some beef, rolled a bunch of scallions into it, and then marinated it in the sauce. Grilled it, sliced it into little scallion-filled rounds, and served with fried rice and steamed broccoli.

This drug store near me had giant bags of Lindor chocolates (the ones with the Jack-o-lantern wrappers) for a buck! They're normally like 8 bucks or something.AngelBaby wrote:Leftover Halloween candy...SweetTarts to be precise.

Re: FOOD
Following Iron Man late yesterday afternoon, we had a very nice dinner.
I started with a mixed green salad with roasted tomatoes and black truffle vinaigrette followed by a applewood bacon-wrapped swordfish steak served with a lobster beurre blanc and saffron mashed potatoes. Dessert was a molten chocolate cake with vanilla gelato.
Yumb.
