lol !

That Israeli news source sure seems impartial. Not only was the man gay but he died of AIDS (all people with AIDS have to be gay. Religion says so). What? They couldn't find a way to blame Global Warming on him? I hear he also invented cancer for children.

Why are you reading Israel today?

A friend of mine is going to Israel for a trip later this year so I was searching around for things I could throw at him just for fun whenever he brings it up.

Im sure this would come as handy story when conversing with the locals.

So you know that bit of doggerel that states humans only use 10% of their brains?

Well, that's not true, and everyone should know that, 90% of your brain does not just sit there eating up nutrients and not doing anything in return.

That's just silly. It's always irritated me when people say that.

It is absolutely, categorically false. There is no way you could even draw breath if you were missing 90% of your brain, much less live any sort of normal existence or, say, become a tax collector in southern France.

With a wife and two kids.

People get confused because on average most people only use 14-21% of their memory capacity. That's where the error comes in. They think that means of the whole brain. People also have this strange notion that there is one part of your brain you never use. Not true. Just one part is not understood. It's functions are known but how it happens isn't.

:ohnoes:
Tests showed that the man's IQ is 75 -- the average is 100 -- but he was not considered physically or mentally disabled.

"The case is extreme, but there are other cases of patients with incredibly little brain matter. Obviously these few nerve cells can achieve just as much as the millions more cells that other people have."
Um...I'm not so certain I would go as far as "just as much." And it's more like the BILLIONS more cells that other people have, making TRILLIONS more synaptic connections.

This probably would have been a good idea to propose before your country's plans to nuke Iran were leaked.

btw since when did North Korea not have nuclear weapons? I thought all they did was stop testing them for a bit.
