If I start watching CSPAN, the only thing that is going to wither and die is my grey matter. I've paused on the channel while surfing, and I can only take about 13 seconds of that utter boredom before I must click to something else.
As far as the morons who think we are destroying the universe by looking at it (one too many bong hits while pondering the observer effect, perhaps?), that's the most idiotic theorem since a group of concerned scientists began worrying that large superconducting supercolliders might generate tiny black holes that would suck the planet out of existence an instant after we created them.

So thats why they haven't set up space-guard or whatever its gonna be called. If we put detection systems in place to observe a civiliasation-killer asteriod heading our way then one will appear and head our way. It all makes sense now!
Didn't work for me in the real world though - I certainly didn't observe that other car coming towards me several years ago but it sure as hell smashed in to my car!!

Why we are on the subject of deleting posts to cure cancer, last week I convinced one of my mums friends that her mobile phone weighs more because it has loads of text messages and contacts stored on it. It got to the point where she removed some text messages and was surprised about how much lighter her phone felt.
