Seems to me that a ship isn't a geographic feature... I mean, cathedrals and nuclear reactors don't move around, at least.

I also haven't managed to even find a place with satellite images from "The GeoInformation Group".

For real...I found out that the HMS Victory resided permanently in Portsmouth and asked AngelBaby what the definition of 'east' was. We both were pretty confident that the Prime Meridian (Greenwich, England) was the definition. Somehow we were wrong. It's apparently anything that isn't america is 'east'.
Needless to say, I went on to looking for Australian vessels while Angelbaby plugged along with HMS Victory.

Couple of things, btw.

This is a stupid puzzle Steampunk did, for several reasons. The puzzles shouldn't be EXCLUSIVE, necessarily. In this one, only a navy man, Brit, or a pirate nut would likely know Punk's clues referred to HMS Victory. But I'll concede on it, because it was POSSIBLE to google. However, that said, try googling 'famous ship' and 'one arm' and tell me how many thousands of results you return.

The fact that two puzzles in a row contain 'errors' on Steampunk's behalf annoy me like you wouldn't believe. Add to the fact that I'm super fucking cranky right now...

Yeah, you're both right -- I was wrong re: Eastern Hemisphere. I thought it was east of London, but didn't bother to look at the lat/long.

AB is up.
