This just in regarding Vista:

Apparently our software program (as in one of our products we sell) is our DISPATCH CONSOLE and the excecutable is dispatch.exe.

Microsoft developers, in their infinite wisdom, won't let ANY executable with 'patch' in the name run without prompting for administrative permission with that new retarded security center.

Our options were to:
1) live with it
2) ask our customers to 'turn off the security center'
3) rename dispatch.exe to disp.exe

Fucking microsoft.

I braved Vista all weekend. That 'allow' shit is annoying. The sidebar is less functional than Rainlender. The speed sucks.

I didn't enjoy it but at the same time being back on XP isn't that great either.

I choose to vote for a third party.
