I tried looking in the Yucca Mountain area to attempt to verify your answer, but I couldn't find the pic Hortnon posted.

Me either, I'm certain it was incorrect so I'd like another hint.

Iran's 'secret' nuclear test facility located just outside Tehran, Iran.

Heh. I'm just trying to get him to prompt another clue :D But in reality, I think it is the right answer, as I believe he referred to Fox Senior Military Analyst, General Paul E. Vallely, who was instrumental in the Plame-Blame-Game scandal. He also has been involved in exposing Iran's facility.

Indeed, but if so, "whistleblower" was the wrong title to give him... Exposing Iran's malicious intents was his job. A whistleblower would be someone that exposed impropriety within their own organization.

^^^
ya rly.

The name that came up again and again when I Googled "nuclear whistleblower" was Mordechai Vanunu, the guy who revealed Israel's nuclear weapons program to the world via British media in 1986, and was subsequently abducted from Rome with the help of a sexy Mossad agent, smuggled back to Israel, given a "trial" and sentenced to spend the next 18 years in prison, mostly in solitary confinement. So if nothing else, I thank Hortnon for indirectly having me learn something new and interesting.

I searched the area around the Negev Nuclear Research Center near Dimona, Israel with GE, but couldn't find anything to match the image.

If this place is really the test facility that Smash is referring to, then a "whistleblower" would have been Iranian, by definition.

Maybe, be more specific?

In any case, another clue: The whistleblower set up shop in Washington state for a short time before being shut down as part of a terrorist organization by the US Gov't.
