Bligs - in answer to your last question... no offense but the last couple of pics/clues have kinda stunk. Things should be recognizable or searchable based on the clue but not requiring BOTH.
Besides, I haven't had time today to go to the bathroom let alone futily try and race Angelbaby to find the answer.
Angel- I certainly hope we get a new face to answer this one, instead of you two towers answering each. It should be easy enough, not like trying to break through the Pentagon.
Sarah22 maybe? Hell I'll even take Eamon giving this a chance.

Once again, a technical correction. This is not in fact the SSC near the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (planned to have a circumference of 87 km), which was abandoned in 1993. This complex is Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), and the large ring is the 6 km-circumference Tevatron, the world's highest energy particle collider (until the LHC at CERN comes fully online sometime in early 2008).
Nice job.
Funny. I drove by Fermilab on my way home from work today. Okay, so it was on my way to a bar after work, but still. If I'd thrown Fermilab out there, I probably would have made mention of the fact that we've got buffalo in them thar fields.

Posting before double checking on google, but it looks like the statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio.

OK, I have visual confirmation. (not bad for an atheist, eh?) Let me figure out something to post, myself.

I know this seems a bit nondescript, but I can assure you it is a very important venue in history.
All I can say is that Emerson was WRONG!
