I figured this one out just prior to starting in on the biographies of all current and former players for the Washington Wizards:

That would be the Edison Memorial Tower in the Menlo Park area of Edison, New Jersey (both are named for Thomas Alva Edison, the "Wizard of Menlo Park"). The 131-foot tall tower is at the exact spot where the Menlo Park laboratory was located.

The island has a land area of 17.177 km² (6.6319 sq mi), and had a population of 1,516 residents as of the 2000 census.
