So it would seem that someone had second thoughts about the costume...
Better? Worse? Is there anything that won't look kind of absurd to current sensibilities? Bear in mind, this is Wonder Woman's recent comic makeover...
It would appear that those responsible for the new show tried to go with something between the classic Linda Carter costume and this newer outfit. Perhaps they should incorporate the jacket?
