Watched this one a lil while back and got annoyed.

Too preachy. Like a long Radiohead video.

It's no Misfits of Science that's for sure.
DLT Prom Queen 4 years running.

I just watched the first 2 episodes.

It's kinda like a blend of X-Men and the 4400, which isn't a bad thing. It's yet to really grab me by the balls in the same way programmes like LOST and BSG have, but it's got potential.

I hate it, but not on its merits.

People are all the time stealing my ideas without even bothering to consult me first.

Random people waking up with powers?

My idea, although I went somewhere else with it in my head.

Also: The guy going from place to place finding and eating them.

Between this show, some other shows, King, Heinlein and other assorted writers I will never be able to write that story that I wasn't ever going to write anyways, people will think me a filthy plagiarist.

They're not exactly the same ideas, but they are way too similar.

I guess I just want to register the fact that I really did have some original thoughts somewhere.

They were good too: look how well they work!

It's a measure of solace.

you could write the ideas out here for us to read and note when they were created.

This has a bunch of added benefit. For example, we could always alter time stamps to prove your arguments.

Secondly, it'd be a great place for me to get ideas FROM.

Heroes has to be the most boring fucking programme in the history of television. I nearly went into a coma after 5 mins of watching an episode where sum azn was able to predict the future or something. The only good thing about it is Ali Larter.

Fuck Hayden Panettiere!

I hadn't seen heroes 'til tonight, but I caught (at least the last 3) episodes in the marathon tonight. It was OK. Not thrilled by it at all. It seems to have a soap opera's pace (reveal a little, make a big deal of it, save the rest for the next episode).

Even Ali Larter didn't excite me. Hayden, who normally isn't on my radar, was the best part of the show.

Well, that and her 'healing' after being burned to a crisp. That effect was kinda cool. Pretty well done.
