I can't remember.. any worth... my money. Last year wasnt too bad... but any notable movies?

from 2005 or 2004.. harold and kumar .

They are releasing a harold and kumar 2.. and a second van wilder (except van isnt in it.)

Van Wilder & Harold/Kumar = 2 of the poorest attempts at humor I have ever seen. My low opinion of HypeGirl is even lower that it was 5 minutes ago.

On topic; I can't think of any funny movies this year... let alone the "best of 2006".

I know that one little movie came out with the Wayan's Bros, but no one saw it... and I think some romantic comedy movie with Vince Vaughn came out.. and one another with Owen Wilson... yeah. Nothing good came out so far this year.

Eventhough it is not opening until this weekend, Accepted was pretty good. I saw it last night on a screening pass, and the response from the crowd was very good.

I didn't like Talladega Nights, funny moments, but not for the entire movie.

Dupree was stupid.

Until Accepted the biggest laugh I had was probably at The Devil Wears Prada.

well I haven't seen great comedy in 2006...

Nacho Libre was okay. Not especially funny, though it did have its moments. My Super Ex-girlfriend was about the same. Then again, I didn't think Over the Hedge was all that great, either.

I admit to finding Benchwarmers really funny. But opinions of that one differ greatly.

Clerks 2 was hilarious. It's the only comedy I can even remember watching this year.

Wow, guess you missed out on alot of the humor in Harold & Kumar, because it was one damn funny flick. The 'over the top' style humor worked perfectly in all but one scene that I won't mention to avoid spoiling for others.

I think I know exactly which scene you are talking about, and it was indeed DUMB.

damn, haven't seen nacho libre or clerks 2...hmm time to watch'm then I guess.

Clerks 2 is definately whatever you pay for it, hell I even paid to see it two days in a row. I'm not surprised Ferrell's movie isn't that good. IMO he's better in a supporting role.....

I believe you're talking about the cheetah scene? I found that funny.

What really pissed me off was that a lot of the funniest parts of the movie were already spoiled by the previews... I can only think of ONE that wasn't. Also, there was a bunch of stuff in the previews that wasn't even IN the damn movie.

I was disappointed.

Another Thing that pissed me off was that I laughed harder at the outakes during the credits, than the actual movie. John C. Reilly taking about Jesus almost had me in tears.
