im crap at this but at least there is now a link to the picture, any tips on how i get a small thumbnail attached to my post?

When you click on post reply look above the box where you type the text.

On the right you'll see a button that reads "Img".

Click it once.

Insert the address of your picture.

Click on "Img" again.

That's it.

No need for thumbnails here. It'll resize automatically.

This is a good enough place as any to post a handy tool I've stumbled on.
